I’ve gone down the Halston rabbit hole with this series. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I thought it was very well done, and respectfully, but I would also believe it’s pretty authentic to the story. I grew up in the 70’s and remember seeing pictures of Halston and Liza from Studio 54 in people magazine, god I miss the 70’s.

The way this entire series comes together during COVID is simply astounding. I mean, this series is so well-stitched together and weaves so many dynamics seamlessly is what really impresses me. Nothing seems forced.

I usually do not watch Netflix, and after almost 3 years watched this show. It was just amazing. Each of the actors were amazing and really authentic. Ewan was just stunning. He should get all the awards he is nominated for.

I absolutely loved, loved this movie. Ewan McGregor along with all of the characters were EXCELLENT! Halston was larger than life to me. He was the great American designer with a cast of people who were at his beck and call. I loved the man himself and I loved his work. I was inspired to go into designing due to Halston at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He was the one that many of us newbie designers followed. I will always miss him, along with Perry Ellis, Elsa Peretti ( who was an amazing jewelry designers - and I still have pictures of her diamonds by the yard) and many more designers who are no longer with us. I miss them all as they were the ones who set the trends for the future and they were pioneers in what they did as designers!

I loved this show. Ewan did a brilliant job. Halston burnt so brightly and beautifully and his downfall was so tragic. I recommend that you watch the 2019 documentary, too. On it, Liza Minelli proves to be a loyal friend. Come on, give Ewan an Emmy for this - he got the voice, the way he carried himself, everything. May Halston be somewhere being fabulous!

I never knew Halston was and just watched this series because Ewan won an Emmy and wooow I did enjoyed the series!!! Love the characters, the story, the cinematography and everything. Really heartbreaking that he never got his name back, it makes me realise how much important for artists to own rights on their creation.

I've have "Spring Affair" by Donna Summer stuck in my head for weeks from watching this series twice, but particularly the 3rd episode which is very special and beautifully done. One of my favorite Netflix series of the year.

I absolutely loved this mini series, they did an amazing job and I have watched this over and over again. I was too young in the 70's to have recognized or been aware of Halston, let alone go to the clubs but when I watch this wonderful ensemble recreate how Halston became famous, I have to say I wish I could go back through time and be part of this terrific era in the 70's! The music, the clothes, the cars, the night clubs, the entertainment, oh my goodness what an unbelievable and exciting time to be alive! This Netflix series about Halston is absolutely superb! When I watch this series, I feel like I'm actually there witnessing this amazing Designer discover himself and transform into this sought after and extremely talented person who enjoyed the spotlight and absolutely loved working with women and showcasing his dress designs and overseeing the runway and entertaining people! Just wonderful to watch! Thank you!

Ewan and the whole cast were brilliant. One of the best things I've ever watched was Halston, loved every second of it. Wished it was 20 episodes instead of 5. But in those 5 it's incredible.

For me, the favorite 70s thing to remember was the limo. Halston loved the color blue and that 79 Cadillac Fleetwood limo was the most magnificent deep metallic blue with matching blue center caps on the wheel covers. I want one so bad.

It was so surprising that this relax and romantic and kind man change his behavior in one second and shout and angry and talk like cold blood with no emotional.
