Nelson Pass discusses measurements and how they relate to the sound. He talks about boutique parts and whether they are important or necessary. How he defines musicality, and which is more important in budgeting for a system, amplifiers or speakers. He suggests a strategy on how to improve your system. He shares his most memorable listening experiences/speakers, and the most talented designers of electronics and speakers. We are truly grateful and honored that he took the time to share with us.
We match and donate all the funds we receive from these videos to the Salvation Army, so please help us by watching to the end (even if you hate us!) so please subscribe, like, share and turn on the notification. This greatly helps us with our cause. Thank you!

I owned an Adcom GFA 5802 amp and GFP 750. Love this combo.

Wonderful laid back interview. I'd like to have dinner with you guys. Don't forget the list of Nelson's favorite recordings. I need some listening help from someone who enjoys music! (On a self imposed budget, I own 3 of the Nakamichi Stasis amp receivers! I could buy the good stuff but I enjoy having fun on the cheap. Wish I had the time for the diy amps. )

Mr. Pass states at 9:30 that he is biased because he hears what the “ knows” he is going to hear. This phenomenon is why it is important to bring “fresh ears” into stereo reproduction. I feel

Thank you Jay and Philip and Adrian for some of the questions! Always a treat listening to nelson from one of his flock at diy audio. Jay, you should look more into the pass labs forum or diy audio store and try to build a amp, headphone amp or one of Nelsons korg b1 nutube preamps that recently sold out I think. Kits there like the amp camp kits sell out fast. Hoping with the f8 soon to be out perhaps nelson will be generous and bless his diy greedy flock with a first watt diy f7 in the future. Though this amp has already been basically figured out there (a bit of a tweak from the first watt f5 that everyone seems to have built). Perhaps another video focusing more on the diy audio products and upcoming ones from pass forum? Thanks again to all you guys!

Great interview, but I thought you were going to link his "reference recordings" list in the video description, but I don't see anything like that... I was looking forward to it! :(

Bunch of Justin Beibers interviewing a legend. If this is the kind of superficial knowledge of new age audiophiles no wonder this industry needs saving.
