Jason White is the most underrated OU QB ever.

I feel like Landry Jones was very underrated. White wasn’t underrated, we just don’t remember him much. Which I guess, sort of goes along with what you’re saying.

Some of my best memories are watching Jason and the Sooners play ball.

I moved to Oklahoma the same year Coach Stoops arrived. An Alabama fan I was back then. By the time OU played Norte Dame that first season I was changed. I remember telling people here in the Tri City area that OU was a national championship team they just needed a little more conditioning and confidence. I was fortunate enough to work in Norman for 10 years through that era. I made just about every home game and one away game at Texas A&M. Those are years I’m grateful for and will never forget.

Jason White has to be one of my favorite OU quarterbacks. He was amazing to watch on the field. It was unfortunate that his injuries held him back from the NFL. But he was still a great college QB, nothing but love for JW.

It was a very excellent video and nothing but class with Coach stoops and Jason White. Both of them were major assets to Oklahoma University.

Appreciate you, Jason, you and Bob stoops. We had some bad losing seasons before y’all come here and I appreciate all your hard work and making Oklahoma feel like champions right along with you all.

Tuttle folks are the real deal. Thank you Jason for staying put and contributing to Sooner DNA. Plus Coach Stoops and his insight from the beginning. Jason lit them up - majority of games, every time.

I met Jason out one night, maybe 04 or 05. I walked up and shook his hand, thanking him and trying not to fan boy too hard. He acted surprised why I was being ‘star struck’. I still don’t know if he fully comprehends what he means to us fans. It was so incredibly fun watching him play! 🙂

Jason White, stud QB and I dont know too many QB’s that are mobile qb’s could somewhat reinvent their game and to be as accurate as we he was. So proud of Jason, Coach Stoops, and all of the 2003 and 2004 Sooners.

That 1st knee injury was hard to watch as a fan, but the 2nd one was just heart breaking. I felt so bad for the kid because of how hard he had to work to get back on the field after the 1st one. The 2nd injury had to be an absolute gut punch.

I remember walking to 6am weights after the LSU game and passing Jason. He was walking back from the Switzer center and in a walking boot. I was like wait, he’s in boot lol

Still have his jersey in my closet. When I watch games I’ll occasionally wear that … or my Baker Mayfield one.

I'm still sick over the 2003 team. Nobody will ever convince me that it wasn't the best college football team in history. When Mike took the Arizona job it did something to the mentality of the team. In truthfulness they never really got it back. It is only now that the attitude of 2003's team is starting to be seen in Norman again.
