In this video, I talk with writer/reviser Nate Schierman! We talk about the demands and expectations of writing, early successes, prioritizing putting food on the table, the writing impetus, catharsis, journaling, continuous states of revision, collaboration, writing characters that make sense as people, attachment and detachment, what we can learn from John Updike’s writing, and Greek mythology.
