Four guys who are intelligent, articulate and can play music at the highest level. If you don't love Clutch you have either never heard them, or you have no soul.
Honestly, my favorite thing about Clutch is that they never try to be what they aren't. It seems like they're still a bunch of high school buddies messing around in their garage and doing their own thing, and that creates the best music I've heard.
These guys are the real fucking deal. Musicians playing REAL music for themselves and the people they love. Keep on Rocking boys sounds great as usual.
Neil said he was thankful for being able to entertain people.....well sir, you’re welcome. I’m 44 and first heard you on 88.1 NC State campus radio in 1996 and you 4 gentleman have been entertaining me ever since. God Bless the Clutch four.
Clutch continues to evolve....they're style is night and day compared to when they started, but there are definitely somethings...not sure how to put it into words....some very interesting qualities that have held over through the years, through the changes they've made, there are aspects of their musical sound and lyrical style that remain and make them unique. LONG LIVE CLUTCH!!!!!!
Coming after Strange Cousins, Earth Rocker threw the hammer down, Psychic Warfare had its moments for sure but there's a few songs I'd consider skipping on a play through (sacrilege on any good Clutch album!). Their latest album doesn't need 15 songs.
Jean Paul influenced me more than any drummer of the hundreds I've listened too and admired. He was the first and probably only I ever noticed played side percussion grooves simultaneously with kit , bongos and such. That really caught my ear and attention all together. It helped me grow so much as a drummer and develope independence in a way I don't know would of happened any other way. And bonus on that people I jam with love it and recognize it as something more rare than not.
When I make my Hollywood blockbuster movie, I want Clutch to score it. Their songs are perfect for movies and it's a crying shame they aren't tapped to do soundtracks.
Totally stunned to hear that JWB was written so hastily. For a long time I've considered those to be some of Neil's best lyrics. But, oh no, fishing aint what it used to be. I've seen some bad years but this one is just killing me. One little nibble in thirteen years, I really pack 'em in. This one I had, I'd seen her in dreams, All shacked up with lightning and horizon beams.
Thanks for entertaining me for the short 7 years I have been listening to u guys. u guys have been my favorite band since I heard incomparable. U guys literally are the greatest and always will be. Amazing video. Thank you
love clutch. cant wait for new album. ive seen em 14 times everytime they come through ohio and will continue to as long as they do. if you havent seen them live, i highly recomend you do before you die.
i love clutch too, but seriously, neil is starting to sound like the singer from "monster magnet," which isn't soooooo bad before all your super fans start losing your shit and whatever weird clasp on reality you have.......space lord mother mother......hahaha.
I think he means "grasp." Neil doesn't sound anything like the singer from Monster Magnet... Not that Monster Magnet is bad. It's another band I love to listen to.
