How did you get up that map in the first place?

Is there any method to export this 3D form into modelling plaform like 3ds Max ? Thank you

Can you please provide the link to the map data you’re working with so I can practice it step-by-step along with your video? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have a question. Is there any way to make it into a scene layer with 3d information created like this?

It would be good to have sample data. Waiting for it also

You can get sample building footprints for Nairobi on this site: data.humdata.org/dataset/hotosm_ken_buildings The data does not come with a height attribute but you can add that column for yourself and input demo/dummy values to test out what has been displayed in the video. In the event that you do actually know the heights of the buildings in the dataset, you could fill that in the same column and extrude it to obtain a similar result. Happy extrusion!!!!

@@Jmbgis Try the exercise with this dataset: data.humdata.org/dataset/hotosm_ken_buildings

Hi Laban, I tried doing the exercise with the above dataset link you suggested to Joseph. I did not encounter the same attribute table as in the tutorial. My table was missing the height column which means I don't think it's possible for me to extrude the building from a 2D site to a 3D form. I'm interested in hearing your feedback. Thanks. Will
