(Hope FCP will catch up with this one day and give us an "in-house-tool" to do this quickly.) Nevertheless I want to open a discussion: What could be the cons of doing this to a youtube video? Do you think some viewers might get irritaed by the burned in subtitles, if they could enable/disable it manually through youtube? Thanks!
Well, you can disable captions while playing a video, but you can‘t do this with burnt-in titles. Apple should give us the freedom to decide what we‘d like to do. Not everyone needs it for main media use.
