Hello Alireza hope you're good I would like to know if this same scenario is changed a little and if we do not have the zip file just the managed deployed solution and the environment access, can we still get some sort of unmanaged file ? seems not possible, just asking if there is some way. Thanks
Hello Ali, I exported the solution as managed and again imported it as managed. Now I am not able to convert it back to unmanaged. I also tried creating a new solution, but the unmanaged components still display as a part of the managed; hence, I cannot do any customization. Can you please help me with this?
Hello Ali Is there a way to take a backup of the managed solution? I need to do some edits in the model driven app and that information is only on the live environment on the dev. The solution is in use and a client registered himself on the portal but asking to make a few change. Before making any edits I wanted to take a backup but found out there is no way to export a managed solution. So, what would you advise?
there a way to convert an environment and its solutions to unmanaged as the managed thing is far more of a headache and work stoppage than its worth lol
Thanks! Alireza for the nice video, your feedback highly appreciated: after important unmanaged solution getting the following error: Error code 8005011C Exception message Import of app module(s) failed: App Module msdyn_ResourceScheduling does not contain Site Map. App Module must have 1 sitemap as part of App Module Components. works fine with the same managed solution.
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZDj_iLwUpLc.html Hi Alireza, on this sequence of the video, the popup shows that all the objects in the unmanaged solution will not be deleted. but the solution will be deleted. The solution layers on these Objects inside this unmanaged solution will be changed of course. But the elements will not be deleted. Thanks for this video, nice trick hope it will be available for the next months.
