We go over how to write a standard form quadratic equation in vertex form by completing the square. We begin in standard form y=ax^2+bx+c then complete the square, adding and subtracting (b/2)^2 and then factoring the perfect square trinomial to arrive at vertex form y=a(x-h)^2+k. #algebra2 #algebra
