Create your perfect VM then migrate it to a real computer. This video shows you how. Though we are using a Windows Host environment you can use the same vboxmanage command from a Linux host.
We've also provide a document which you can print and use to make it easier to follow: cloud.compumatter.biz/s/6XFnn...
Commands Used:
* Set Environment Variable: set PATH=%PATH%;"C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox"
* VBoxManage clonehd Linux_Matter.vdi Linux_Matter.img --format RAW
* sudo dd if=/media/mylinux/sourcedir/Linux_Matter.img of=/dev/sdc status=progress
Boot Your New Physical Drive
Once dd is done, you are done!
Detach your newly created physical drive and plug it into any computer you wish to boot from.
Enjoy your new drive
Problem and Solution
* When you boot your drive it boots to an INITRAMFS prompt and your dead.
** Solution: slave it to another linux box and run sudo fsck.ext4 -f -y /dev/sdaX (subst X for your partition)
