haha thanks. Glad the Algorithm pushed you in my direction. I have another Ork kitbash uploaded AND another one in the works 👀 Spoil yourself. But honestly thanks for the feedback!
I've been painting Warhammer for over 20 years, and I've been on the same level for the longest time. Only in the last few years have I tried to learn some new techniques by watching others, like indirect lighting, proper shading etc. This video has added to that learning curve. Thanks a lot! Great how the model has turned out! Cheers
Hey thanks so much! I’m similar to you and it’s only been through starting these videos that I’m actually brave enough to venture into some new techniques. I’m working on a video at the moment where I will try non metallic metal for the first time. I’m absolutely terrified.
I really need to take a deep dive on all the fantasy ork models to see what I can make into something proper for the far future I like where your head was at here but I do think the KFF needed some more to make the parts feel more coherent. Some cut up plating to fill the gaps, a few cables running from gubbin to gubbin. A more radical idea: some billowing smoke/flames as this poor contraption is cooking itself into oblivion, as another way to fill the biggest gaps.
Such an awesome conversion. Looking at making my Bazdrogg a beast snagga boss, but now you have me tempted to try and do something similar to what you’ve done. Thanks for the inspiration
That’s really cool, I love orks and this is one of the best paint jobs I’ve seen. Also I see you have spare knight Abominant bits waiting to be orkified.
Oh wow, no I hadn't seen this. I just watched a couple of videos to check them out. I love Green Stuff World products. I've used the colourshift paints for my Ork buggies and find any excuse to use the UV resin.
Hey, the base model is Bazdrogg but I used the chaos knight gauntlet as a backpack, the mega nobz kustom blaster arm and a handful of kustom force field parts from a variety of Ork kits like the mega nobz and also the dakka jet kit I believe.
Anyone know where the gun arm came from?, trying to find a gun arm that fits the size of the model (First attempt was cutting and glueing a combi bolter from a predator onto the guys hand, did not work
Hey mate, yep it's the Kustom Mega Blasta from the Ork Mega Nobz kit. Hope that helps and looking forward to seeing how you go with the build. I found it was a really good fit and you could hide any wonky connection points with a shoulder pad over the top. Mike
@@flashingbadgerpainting Thanks!, Ordered the arm and gun bits from Bitzbox. I've been Khornifying him so far. Gonna run him as a WE character/HQ. Since I feel orks fit quite a bit to be in the ranks of WE
It ain't arrived from Bitz Box, so i'm just gonna buy the meganobz kit in my local GW today. Turning him into a WE's HQ model, used some parts from the goreblade warband from AoS. I had already glued his usual arm in, so had to pry off the shoulder pad, rip off the arm, and re-glue the shoulder pad, but the issue should be hidden once painted.
Yep I appreciate they aren't for everyone. I certainly didn't want to waste the model and saw the opportunity to have some fun. I hope you got a kick out of the video anyway, thanks for dropping in.
