Gday, that’s a brilliant idea for the window shades, driving a sowing machine takes a bit of skill and you nailed it Macca, the rooftop suits the LN nicely, top job mate, cheers

the old invisible tub rack was one of my favorite eps! Glad you mac keeps trying to push the limits of skill and tried the tube bender, The solar screens look mint, and for 5% of the cost and no wait. Killer ep strong aussie bois

Great ep! I ran exactly the same sun shades around my GU. It was a super cheap option! Velcro sticky dots also work well to hold them in place.

Easy upgrade for the press is to replace the bottle jack with an air operated one, which kinchrome make conveniently enough. Speeds it up considerably and is just as accurate

Hi fellas, when using the speed worx/ jd2 benders, is best to bend up a 90 or 180 degree template piece that you keep, it has the start of die mark on it, then do your layout on the ground of whatever shape you need then lay your template bend on it and line it up with the angle that you are chasing then mark were the start of die is on your layout then you can transfer it on your pipe, then use this technique to work around your shape 👍. Keep up the great content fellas, lovin the C10 build 💪

Those el cheapo sun shades work well. I did the exact same thing in my canopy and they've been going strong for 7 odd years now

speaking of sun shades, having it on the OUTSIDE of the windscreen feels like the sun isn't heating up the glass and air pocket between the glass and shade, resulting in a cooler cab. This is just my experience. Wondering if putting the sunshield FLUSH on the side panel glass would decrease the temps more.

Just a heads up on the home made solar shades, they will melt to your window in temps over 40! I learnt the hard way, that’s why the proper ones cost more.

Just built one very similar, but 2 frames and a set of hinges and gas struts to be able to lift it open to get into the tub still

The ln106 need a tub liner and a tub cover like the Landcruiser and possibly a clean up like get rid of the dints and a respray

Great vidoe as always. Looked at the demo here in perth but 95kgs was a bit to heavy as had a tub rack on a next gen raptor to do it but then fitted a maxliner canopy so cant easy fit the tent when needed.

awesome vid guys, I bought one of the first new shape outback tourer roof top tents when they were running their business out of the garage of their house and i cant recommend these guys enough, they are easy to talk to and great guys with a great product i love seeing how far they have come
