Have you ever used vintage lenses? If so, which one?

I'd love to see what these vintage lenses look like on a modern digital video camera. I only have a Canon 600D but I've often thought about converting old lenses from charity shops to add a few extra tools to my filming kit.

Hey! Many thanks for your comment, appreciate that! I'll most certainly do an image quality test showcasing the lenses on both my cameras and compare them! Old lenses are a great deal, in my opinion, as they do have very good optical performance, outstanding build quality whilst at the same time being very affordable!

Thanks Shane, appreciate you! Will most definitely do a test and comparison on my pocket6k and the s5ii! But as I‘ve owned the 24 and 50 for 2 years, I can already say that they are amazing!

Was really nervous to put this video out, as it’s not related to my channels main focus at all and the numbers in general proved me right, but as I really enjoy doing other, non davinci related content as well, I‘ll just keep doing so! Will do the test shoots this weekend!🙌🏽

Appreciate the comment man! You could still convert to EF and then use a EF - E adapter; but at that point it's probably more easy to go Canon nFD - Sony E via a regular adapter! :D

@@UnboundedArtandCrafts if you’re interested in the adapters, I‘ve tested the ones from K&F - disappointing results as I had problems focusing, I then got the ones from „Urth“ and they are great!

Thank you so much man! Glad to hear you liked the colors! This was graded using only a film print powergrade I developed a while ago in combination with my Kodak LUTs- you can find a breakdown and walkthrough here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rV82wmJecZQ.htmlsi=dWdpIrDCveHgfBkp This powergrade was available for download, but currently isn’t as my shop gets a new design! It‘ll be back up though in no time!
