Just started college and haven't been in school for 15 years. First week in I got my ass kicked with this in Chem. I'm sitting here now feeling alot more confident and actually understanding how to pick and use conversion factors. Thanks for teaching me!
If I could see u in person I would give you the biggest hug everrrrrr!!!!!!! You make it seem so easy. The way you show the step-by-step process is phenomenal. Thanks!
I wish I knew you existed when I started chem this semester.. finals are in a week from tomorrow and I'm starting to freak out. my grade would be so much better if I watched you from the beginning of class. I'm taking general chem 1 next semester so I'm totally subscribing!
Just wanted to express how thankful I am that you make RU-vid videos to help students struggling in science. In my school, the science department is terrible and I am left to figure out how things work on my own. Without the help of your videos, I would be failing chemistry right now. Your videos are very easy to understand and concise. Thank you so much
wow Im a freshman in college taking mathematics for allied health sciences. This has helped me so much more than being in class. Ugh thank you so much for this.
Hey everyone, I'm here to help. If you have any questions or just want to learn more, click on the link in the description above. It'll take you to a page where you can ask me questions.
Thank you, thank you, thank you Tyler!!! I am a non-trad in my 50's and I am in Gen Chem and the professors do not go slow enough for me. Your videos help me so much!!!
Bless you! I'm behind in chem listening to my professor teach and as soon as I watch your videos EVERYTHING clicks! You're a wonderful man. From the bottom of my heart I graciously thank you!
Dude..... you are literally replacing my Chem teacher right now. I have NO idea what he is talking about until I come home and watch your videos. THANK YOU! Love, your future nurse!
My teacher mentioned your name and that you help people in math. I've never heard of you before. I tuned into conversion factors and within less than 5 minutes of your video, I understand and am getting answers right for homework. I like how you explain things. Very clear and concise. Thank you sir.
Tyler, just wanted you to know that your work is amazing. I really appreciate the amount of effort you put into this to make it easier for us, it's great. I admire you for the way you work, how you love what you do and simplify it for others so they can understand and consequently love it too. Thank you so much!
My professor needs to take notes from your videos. I love how you break it down Barney style for us. Keep doing what you are doing because you are saving a lot of people from headaches.
Tyler, as a student-teacher I am very impressed with your teaching ability- not only do you seem to intuit what I need to know next, and explain things in a matter-of-fact, simple and thorough manner, but most importantly you inspire me to learn. Bravo, and thank you...because of you I just may pass a terrible online chemistry class!
You are a lifesaver to me..I stumbled onto your site and you saved me from madness with your simple, easy to understand method of teaching. Thank you so much!
omg thank you for making it so much easier to understand. My previous math professor was fast and hard to understand. I like that you're going slow, explaining why it is the way it is for every step (I need that), and taking the time to do multiple problems to make sure we get the hang of it. keep up the excellent work.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I think the biggest mistake that teachers make is assuming that students already know certain things. I am doing an online course which does not have any math prerequisites yet they explain this stuff as if everyone is a mathematician. I haven't studied math in more than 10 years so it was a struggle until I found your lectures.
im returning back to school after ten yrs and am taking CHM for the 1st time ever..none of this converting to factors or units made since what so ever until i came across your vids. U are a true blessing.... TYTYTYTYTYTYTY
Tyler, I just wanted to tell you -- AWESOME JOB! You are quite the teacher. I have shared this video with my current Math class and they are viewing many of your videos and you break it down well. Keep up the great work. You are greatly appreciated.
I have spent almost 50 hours racking my brain trying to figure out how to know which way to write the conversion factor and all somebody had to say is “either one is right but you’re going to use the one that cancels the other out” I am ready to scream and cry with glee that my lightbulb came on!!! THANK YOU! Why doesn’t anybody say this?!?! Thank you so much!
Bro literally thank you so much. I’m struggling a bit in my Integrated Science class and you saved me. My teacher was not really explaining well but you not only explained very clearly but also showed good examples and made it very simple.
@@mrcceja 1,560 is 3 sig figs (0 does not count as a sig fig unless there's a decimal. You want to keep the 0 though as it maintains the closest value to the original answer of 1564.
Tyler, I really appreciate your channel. I got my degree in English but now I want to pursue physical therapy so you can probably imagine what it's like to launch yourself into the world of science when you got to skate right by the first time. Just wanted to say thanks for helping. :)
Wish I would have found you a little bit earlier. First test tonight ill probably fail but NOW that I have found you i'm hopeful!!! Thank you Thank You
I'll one up you, my chemistry professor is blind and our class has to be online due to covid... he just has a group call, he can't even share the screen and tries to explain complex concepts without any visuals :/
4 years ago I was a science major student watching your videos every night . Now, I am back here, not as a student but as a science teacher still watching your videos (btw I did not end up as a science major. I shifted) woah time flies so fast! 😂😭
I never leave comments but today I will, This guy is freaking AMAZING!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. I WATCHED MANY VIDEOS BUT THIS ONE CLICKED MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY. Tyler is my chemistry guyyyyy
Thanks dude, you really helped me out. I like how you actually explain the maths behind the method so when things progressively get harder I can still understand whats going on.
This video, like the others, is just so good. Previously mystifying concepts become sensible and easy. Love the opening line "some people call this dimensional analysis, some people call this the factor-label method, but you're going to call it easy" - ha!! Great!
disclaimer: this dude is great and he teaches all this in a great way I have nothing against him, but My high school teacher made us watch this. high school, this is something I needed in fourth. WHY,
i wish my teacher would just play your videos instead of trying to explain it herself. She taught us this lesson in class and I was soo confused but I just saw your video and now I totally get it. Please become a teacher
Thank the Lord for you!!! I think I am going to be using your RU-vid channel for the whole school year! Chemistry is sooooo confusing but this helps A LOT
Congratulations my honors chem teacher putted a link to your video on a slide and in the list of questions we have to answer for the slideshow it says "On slide #28, watch the video. Explain how conversion factors are used to perform dimensional analysis." you reached the teacher that teachers uses to help them
Thank you very much!! I couldn't understand my new professor during Lecture. He has an accent and I couldn't understand much, but this video cleared up every detail I needed answered!
Before watching this video I was a sobbing wreck of a human being because I didn't understand this concept at all. I finally get it now, thank you SO much.
Thank you so much my teacher didnt teach it to us that well. She showed us this video and I instantlly understood the information in it. Thanks and have a nice day.
I know I'm late. Glad I found you. You are amazing super smart and smarter because you know this and you know how to explain so well. I'm trying to get into nursing. Wish you could make more videos. Thank you so much, you just don't know what your videos mean to me.
Thanks man. Watched many good videos in this topic. But this was the best and shortest. This did indeed make it easy in one video. Will continue to watch your vids. Hope 2021 is good to you so far.
bless i got a quiz tmrw and I've been watching ur vids and they're helping me soooooo much. thank you it all makes sense (sig figs scientific notation and conversions)
Thank you so much! I was struggling with this in class because my teacher just went too fast for me to keep up! I was struggling with one problem for like 30 mins so, i decided to watch lesson vids to understand. This helped me get the right answer on that hard problem!
