1) concave lens will always form a virtual, erect/upright and a diminished image. 2) convex lens is used as a magnifying glass, it must be place between the focal length (F1) and the optical centre to have a very magnified , virtual and an erect image. 3) since image size is the same as the object size, that means the lens is a convex lens and the object is place on the principal focus (2f1) likewise the image would be formed on the principal focus (2f2) .

Answer of the questions 1. concave lens is always form virtual ,erect and diminished image 2. Convex lens is used in magnifying glass and object should be placed between 2f1 and f1 3. According to the given situation, the object is placed in the front of convex lens at 2f1 and the image formed at 2f2

Here's what I comment: Q¹. Name the lens that always forms a virtual, upright and diminished image. Ans: It is concave lens that always forms a virtual, upright and diminished image. Q². Which lens is used in a magnifying glass and where should the object be placed? Ans: It is convex lens which is used in a magnifying glass & the object should be placed in between the focus and the optical center of the convex lens. Q³. An object of height 5 cm is kept in front of a lens. An inverted image of height 5 cm is formed. Identify the lens & position of the object & image. Ans: It is convex lens.
