Conviction: Kerrigan Rescues Jim Raynor on Moros Prison Ship (Starcraft 2)

To help Sarah Kerrigan rescue Jim Raynor from the Terran Dominion, Raynor's Raiders had Colonel Orlan hack the Dominion's deep-encryption network to find Raynor's secret prison. They discovered Raynor was held aboard Moros, a prison ship that was constantly on the move. Kerrigan and the Raiders intercepted Moros at Atlas Station while the prison ship made a short refuelling stop. Boarding the prison ship was left to Kerrigan and the zerg. The zerg secured access to the prison deck, preventing Moros's crew from jettisoning it. Arcturus Mengsk activated the ship's self-destruct to foil the rescue attempt. Kerrigan fought through the destruction, and extracted Raynor. The chaos was exacerbated by prisoners released from their cells. Raynor was horrified by Kerrigan's return to the Swarm, but declined her offer to allow him to kill her... "Conviction" mission from 'Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm' PC game... ye exactly....at the end though (SPOILER WARNING) if you havent played LoV, back in 2010 I was spoiled the ending of Wings of Liberty when some one replied on my old comment before I got to play the game), they got to live together however they wanted, considering that Kerrigan became Goddess, she could basicly just create a planet for her and Jim alone :D Unless ofc Jim just imagined the whole thing and ended up killing himself, like some fans have speculated....I mean those who didnt like cheesy happy ending and wanted some tragic ending to this story :D

Just like you said, Kerrigan is a literal omnipotent goddess, so she can do pretty much whatever tf she wants which means that ending scene in LoTV indicated that she briefly turned into her OG human form to snatch Jim away. They are probably living together somewhere in the universe, making Xel'Naga babies lmao.

Eternal loneliness featured prominently in the story Amon told himself about why he did all these horrible things, after all. Rather than 1 goddess and her mortal boytoy, I think there's 2 Xel'Naga out there in the universe

@@bellcrosswolfstein1942 Fenix was Jim's closest Protoss ally next to Zeratul and Artanis. And Kerrigan during the "Brood Wars" betrayed them when she put on a Facade of being their ally against the UED. She killed Fenix in Cold blood after he lead her Zerg Forces to victory, even if she was technically under a semi-mind control at the time. Jim can't really have the heart to forgive her for that since Fenix helped out so much and she was so heartless for it.

So she turns into a zerg and then gets turned back into a human and then feels the need to become zerg again, this time with high heels and a thong built into her genes, but she retains human emotions, and even though she is the literal leader of an interstellar alien all-consuming empire, she does all this out of love for some mere human that she could have been with but refuses to even try when she gets a second chance, then she turns into some angel and becomes god. Makes sense.

@@persekarva6444 He is right. Jim didn't commit suicide when he saw her infested, after the brood war, after she killed Fenix. She is now xel-naga. She can be whatever she wants. Just like Narud. He took the form of Duran, then the doctor in Wings of Liberty. And in Legacy of the Void, we saw his form. Kerrigan is now like a God. Imagine little babies with flaming Wings. That is the craziest sex in the universe. He wasn't hallucinating. Maybe they are living a happy life on some other planet, or maybe on Chau Sara. Who knows. I think that the writers did a great job.

If you sided with Nova he will instead say "we are planning to use ghosts to infiltrate." Blizzard does a pretty good job keeping your decisions throughout the campaigns. Source: I sided with Nova and heard the dialogue.

Heart of the Swarm is an awesome game and I love it. But...is it just me, or does actually playing AS the Queen of Blades, leveling up a character and leading your army as that character in a Starcraft game, just not feel...right? I do not know what it is about that, but the whole gameplay setup of Heart of the Swarm just feels off for some reason.

Besides, kerrigan here is all about bearing the weights of her own mistakes, even the horror she did as the queen of blades... it's normal for her to take responsability of her actions, and even if she's rejected or killed by Jim.. he's safe now, and it's all that matter to her at the moment.

Haven't seen anyone talk about how Raynor had promised to kill her back when she betrayed Fenix. In my opinion, he did, in a certain way. When Kerrigan first got de-infested he had technically killed the old Queen of Blades.

Point blank range with her defenses down he certainly could! She almost died when Narud took a psi blade as Sarah Kerrigan to her stomach and had to be put in a restorative chamber so yah, she's not invincible people.

Well obviously not if Kerrigan was willing to fight/defend herself, but at that moment she left it entirely at hands of Jim what her fate would be.
