I love that during the entire stream, he never actually used any outfit properly but just got roasted for bad fashion choices by the ai constantly.

Imagine having a nice yet slightly off conversation with your next-door neighbour one night, when suddenly they hit you with the Kubrick stare and a string of garbled words flows out of their mouth but the words seem so fascinating and relatable that you just can't help but let them in to talk more about retirement inventions golf 401k glasses naps

I love the fact that the game lets you get away with doing Asterisk shenanigans, making weed materialize in a bag that was definitely uber eats or something, it feels like cheating but it's funnier to think that he just got EXTREMELY lucky that the bag was filled with weed

Telling the AI how to act is pretty much vampire hypnosis and therefore a valid tactic.

The fact that him telling the AI how to act actually worked for a second shocked me 😭

Just want to comment that this game is a really good example of good use of AI in games. Basically it's coded to give the NPCs some backstories, which leads to things they are interested in talking about. If you are close enough to those subjects you essentially can keep talking to them and the AI will generate decent responses to your input, making it feel interactive. Then for this game's purpose of tricking the AI into letting you in their house, you basically have to stay on topic and give them an extra reason to let you in, but the AI seems to be told to generate some reasons to be suspicious of what you have been saying, forcing you to give a valid response to circumvent the suspicion that the AI will accept. In addition the disguises/outfits seem to be tied to keywords used to tell the AI what other person they are facing (hence why they recognise you wield a hatchet etc.) which has a little weight on the conversation as well. Basically this game is equal to social engineering but with AI. Seems like a lovely concept, I can see methods like these becoming a staple for RPGs in the future. Imagine playing a game of the quality of Baldur's Gate but at the same time you can also talk to NPCs about virtually any subject. If that is tied to new things that can be generated in the game, that creates very interactive worlds for players. This would be a perfect worldbuilding tool, especially if you have a well-written main story/quest written by an actual human present as well.

I wanna see Cherbourg go through this game again with different challenges, like “one word only” “emoji only” or “RPing as cricken”
