@@Minetendo_Fan Wow, good one, you really got me with that one. Yeah, I was wrong, it's not actually been that long. But it certainly feels like it's been there for years. Which technically isn't even wrong, since it seems to have been released November 2022. Still, what this game does is indeed nothing new. In fact, it's been able to give such detailed responses for so long, I felt like it had been years. When in fact, it was probably just about 6-10 months ago. Aside from that, DougDoug has been playing with ChatGPT like this for months aswell. A more recent example, but a closer one to what this game does.

I'll briefly indulge your desire for attention and say that this game wasn't fully made by AI. The developers made everything else in the game, only the NPCs have generative AI behind them.

@@ShadowbaneOverload I do have a brain that works at least well enough, that I know no AI could make an entire game like this. Still, the fact is people ard playing games with humans and generative AI, instead of games made with humans and humans, and are praising it, wanting more of thos games with less human work put into it. Good for human writers.

@@Kya10 Again, a bad faith reinterpretation of the general will of the people. If it were lazy work, it would be criticized to hell and back - see Palworld's current situation. People like Suck Up because it has generative AI only where it's needed to accomplish what it wanted, because allowing custom player input is fun. Even RPGs can't be programmed with every possible player response by hand. On top of that, Suck Up is specifically about player freedom to say whatever they want to get into a house - premade choices would make that boring as hell.

reminds me of a silly game i played for awhile called something like "mad gran run". it got mis-translated as "angry Grandma", but "crazy" makes more sense.

It actually a dream come true for rpg gamers. I would love to see more games like this one but in rpg genre. 🤩
