Is there something wrong with the sft40? On Amazon they have a warning this is a frequently returned item. First time I've seen this for any item at Amazon.
I have both the Convoy L21B SFT40 and the Convoy 3X21D. Both are badass. I did light up the siding of a metal building 1.2 miles away very easily last week. I would say on a good clear night 1.5 miles of throw can be had. I think I lit up a building that far, but didn't measure the distance to it. The L21B SFT40 I paid $27 and change from AliExpress with free shipping. For the money, it's the better deal.
Cant wait to get 3x21D, I purchased the Ts30s Pro as my introduction to sbt90.2. That was before I read all the negative comments on it lol. I'll always appreciate it and keep it in the collection... momentary turbo from the Ts30s Pro far surpasses anything I need it for 99.9% of the time.
The ring that’s in the ts30s pro is in every sbt light I have.. ironically the mc13 ii is the lest rings light I have.. oddly enough. The 3x21d is good, but heads up that for the modes and stuff you have to click super fast for like flashies, lock out and stuff… it’s annoying lol
@@gabem5861I’d go 3x21d for the throw, but the ts30s pro for the fun factor. I own the fw21 x9l the mc13 ii with the 21700 tube, and I was thinking about the ts30s pro. I just wouldn’t get the l21a or b if you have the ts30s pro. Performance is too close to justify price.
do you have a L21B in with xhp70.3 to compare to the L21B sft40? which will have better run time and output? Thanks for your videos. SBT90.2 looks great, but seems to get hot very quick and unable to hold for longer times.
