In this week's episode we travel up to Coober Pedy and stay at the Oasis Caravan Park. We do a tour of the sites with George, the owner of the caravan park who offers tours of the town. When we leave Coober Pedy, we stay at the Kulgera Roadhouse in the outback, another fabulous experience. Next stop Uluru.

Great stop at Marla, the kitchen catered for my partner who is gluten intolerant and cooked him a lovely steak with chips and salad to take away, lovely service !

Thank you, we have an offline music app now, working a treat, it definitely makes the kilometers go by quicker when listening to music. Thanks for the tip regarding Hutchinson memorial, great to have so many options.

Great video, I need to watch all your previous ones. As we are looking into getting an rv, have you done or can you do any off road in the motor home. More so if you want to park down along a river down a dirt road etc.

Hi, glad you have found our channel and videos. Yes you can definitely do some dirt roads in the motorhome and off-road camping. I usually jump out if the ground looks a bit uneven or boggy before we park up so i can check if the ground is hard. As you don't have a 4wd to pull you out (like you would with a caravan) you just don't want to get bogged. We just take it slow on dirt roads. Have fun in your search for the right RV for you.

Love your videos and positive approach to travel. (Which drone do you use?)

Thank you, we love travelling and definitely try to stay positive. The drone is a DJI mini 3 pro. Very easy to use and takes great video.

You should put music on a USB stick or your phone and you will have music you like all the way.

Just a query the curtain hanging between the cab and rear did you make that or buy it. Looks good. How did you attach the curtain. You may have already said somewhere but I'm working my way through the Videos. Also does it help with noise reduction. Thanks

Hi, we just bought a block out curtain from Bunnings, it is attached with two stick on hooks and clothesline type material. The curtain is mainly for the air conditioning when driving so it does not have to try and cool the whole motorhome. It also gives some extra privacy when parked up.

I saw on an earlier video you mention fuel usage was 12L/ km. What is it when towing swiftly cheers JnR

Hi, fuel consumption when towing the swifty is about 14.2 on average, we had some very high usage when coming up against a head wind. With no wind, its pretty good still.

Why are you staying at Motels? Look behind your seats and you will see a Motorhome

We sleep in our motorhome every night. Definitely don't stay in hotels. We stayed in a hotel in Mount Gambier to stay longer and explore the region as the motorhome was an hour and a half away. It was a good option for the night.

You booked in for two nights...that's one night too many. Coober Pedy is a horrible place.
