You look great. I've noticed that when I woman is pregnant she has this extra glow to her. It really puts an emphasis on how special those 9 months of pregnancy are. 😊
We did a home birth for our fifth, and I can’t imagine ever doing it any other way again! It was so incredibly empowering and special, the recovery was faster and easier, and I didn’t get post partum depression like I did with my hospital births. I think you will really love the experience!
Yes to all of it! Pregnancy, home birth, names!! I love being pregnant once the morning sickness passes, and though I'd be excited to meet the new little one, I would also feel a little sad that they were no longer inside of me. I've had twelve babies, so I completely understand the name difficulty. We have NINE girls!!! Ha! Love the baby update and couldn't be happier for you and your sweet family!
12 kids is so wonderful!!! Hardly anyone does big families anymore because they think big families are a burden when in reality they are a big blessing!! I know because I am one of 9. 7 of which are girls. 😊
I have 4 kids and I also loved being pregnant! I always felt so blessed and I recognize what a miracle each baby was! I wish I would have had more but finances prevented that. All 4 of my kids are happy, healthy and successful! I also have 10 grands! We have 2 boys and 2 girls. I had a girl first and boy second. After that I knew what I was going to have for the last 2 by the way I carried them, all out front with the girls and around my hips with the boys. Good luck with your home birth!
That's like us. Our mom had the first in a hospital, the second two in the birth center, next one in the hospital, next two on the birth center, and then three home births.( Which our mom loved.)
Love allll of it! So excited for you! We had a placenta abruption with my now 6 day old babe (4th child) and while I would have loved a home birth, I am equally grateful for emergency medicine! I will recommend to anyone and everyone that no matter where you choose to birth, a midwife is worth every penny even if she doesn’t attend your birth! They take such great care of you, even/especially postpartum!
Those recipes looked delicious! Thanks for sharing. I think the Mexican lasagna is one I want to try soon...You look great and I'm glad you aren't having as much morning sickness...I loved being pregnant with all four of mine too. It's the sweetest time-especially when you feel the fluttering and see the elbow or foot moving across your belly.. Praying your pregnancy continues to go well and your birth plan goes well too..Names can be hard, but you and your husband will pick the right one..Loved this video💖.
You look so beautiful Laura!!! I’m so glad you are feeling good! I too loved being pregnant so I know that feeling!! Love the new spring recipes I’m going to try this this weekend! Thanks for sharing Laura! ❤️
You look great! I'm on my 5th baby now, 28 weeks pregnant. This will be my 5th home birth Lord willing. you are so right about how nice it will be to just stay in your own bed rather than trying to get up and drive right in the midst of the hardest part of labor. I'm a Bradley fan too and getting out of your birth zone is just the worst!
Enjoy ☺️ it can be so great after the morning sickness is gone. It's a good time to bond with the baby while still in the womb, I take my hat off to mom's that have muilt. children and become pregnant and on the go with little ones, house work, if working outside just daily stuff it's not easy but you guys do it! Much Blessings to you and family enjoy every moment of it! Have a safe and healthy delivery.🙏🤰💐
It took me 5 births to convince my husband to do homebirths. I did have 3 homebirths and loved them!! One of them was 11 lbs lol. That was 20+ yrs ago!! My 9th was a hospital birth due to circumstances at the time.
Congratulations! You are wonderful. I love your spirit. I have 3, 2 we’re hospital births but my last I had a home birth and I wouldn’t do it any other way. It was a dream water birth and I loved it. I think you will too.
Genetically, dad determines the gender! My husbands dad was one of 3 boys with 1 sister. We are 23 weeks with #3 and it's another boy for us! Our first was a girl, second was a boy, and now another little guy. I don't care either way- just a healthy baby! The Lord has been kind to us with that! ... but hey, it is fun to takes guesses when you know the odds depend on husbands paternal history!
So, so excited for you to have your first home birth! Great choice! 🙌🏼 I just had my second home birth in February unassisted, just me, my husband and our other kids. No regrets! He was born in our bathroom, three pushes, 10 pounds, caught by my husband. Our second was born in a freestanding birth center/midwife house. Home is really different in the best way! Best wishes to you and baby and Dad! You got this! 💪🏼🙏🏼💗
@@Deeplyrooteddoula that is beautiful! 🥰 Very happy to have had the experience. All of my births were very different and all memorable, but it's difficult to put into words the impact this last one had. My husband and I will never forget it!
All your meals look so Tasty. Thanks for sharing your pregnancy update.. I also loved being pregnant. I had a rough pregnancy with all 5 of mine but I still loved it. I hope that you have a healthy pregnancy and Delivery. So excited to meet this New Baby. Take Care and God Bless Y'all 🙏. Love From your Indiana Friend.💞💕💞
You look great! You're do for a girl. Sending prayers and blessings to you and your family/new baby on the way. These recipes look delicious 😋 must try the biscuit recipe. I've never had elk, looks super lean. I've been cooking lots of stews soups casseroles for the cold weather. Time to start thinking of lighter recipes for the warm weather on the way and as usual I draw a blank.
I can relate about naming the baby!! We had the same problem with our last girl that we just had in March! We gave our favorite names to the other two that we have. It was a lot of head scratching 😂 (we did give her a beautiful name in the end)
3 boys and don’t know what my fourth is currently 23 weeks. I feel like I can’t make girls at this point so totally get that! 😂💕 the food looked wonderful and I wore that dress for Easter 🥰
Home birth would be amazing to get to do!!! Both my babies would not have made it though, so that's not in the future for me😦. I go fast lol with my 2nd I was 100% and 7cin by the time I got to the hospital. Congratulations and happy for you!! ☺💜
Thank you for the jam recipe! This is perfect for us. We are moving to a house that has a glass top stove, do you have a video or tips on using it with cast iron? I’m a grandmother to my first grandchild who is 1 1/2 and at a different stage in life but oh! I loved that time of pregnancy so much. I also loved being pregnant and one of mine was born at home. It was one of the most peaceful days of my life. Congratulations and blessings for healthy happy pregnancy 🥰
You look great! Happy and glowing! What time do you get up to make breakfast like these? Does your family eat sandwiches for lunch also, or do you always feed them hot meals?
Someday I’d love to know what American sausage tastes like. We live in a very unique area where they make a Mennonite sausage called Farmer Sausage. It’s very mild pork sausage seasoned very simply and smoked. I use it for any recipe that calls for sausage and we love it. All of your meals look so delicious. So excited for you to meet your new baby. What are your kids names? I have one boy and then three girls. I always wanted another little boy and thought my youngest was going to be a boy, but nope!
I just recently subscribed to your channel I love it. I love the content. I have two questions where are your heavy mixing bowls from and your sundresses! Thank you for sharing I’m binge watching all your videos now!
We found out the gender for our first. It made naming easier! Funny story - I went through a list of the 20 or so old wives' methods for predicting boy vs girl, around 20-24 weeks . . . half said boy, half said girl!
Such a darling mama-to-be in a darling sundress and the cutest little bump. So nice you can eat to get enough calories in. That is a good feeling that you don’t have to watch yi our calories. I had four boys, no girls. I loved the boys and definitely partial to them. They are all grown up now w/ children of their own! I’m 71 and Yi still dream about being pregnant. Ha ha!!
Do your kids like onions? My kids wouldn't touch them until they grew up. My grand daughter will eat them if they are really cooked down and carmelized. Just wondering.
My daughter has 4 children she had 2 in England both home births one on the couch and one in a water home birth in a birthing pool her first 2 are boys they were hospital births
How do you have energy to take care of so lot children? I would like to have big family, but…Im scared I cant do it without proper sleep (which people dont have when they have children). I have only one - 2months old and Im done😂
You look fantastic! I’m gonna go ahead and guess girl..I feel like your belly looks like a girl belly 😂 Also, because I have 3 girls I’m hoping for a girl! Congratulations again!
Everything looks delicious! You’ve inspired me to make some biscuits! I also enjoyed being pregnant 😊2nd trimester was always a favourite for me - you’re out of the nausea stage and not overly big! You’re looking great. I have all boys if you need any suggestions 🙂 Caleb Joshua Micah Ezra
