I love how RU-vid recommends this to me after my lack of self-regulation led me to watch RU-vid

This is hilarious! My favorite part is when Cory held Cookie Monster's hands and said "I believe in you". LOL.

In adulthood, you don't only need to put off good things until later. Usually, you have to exclude them all together.

When you are forced to use up your willpower dealing with the constant stream of crap life is throwing at you, it can be hard to say no to that "cookie".

What a fun video! Parents can use this to teach their children self control. Thanks NPR :)

It is particularly about thinking before reacting. Defusion is one of the most helpful skills I have learned from CBT.

This was a great video to teach children different strategies they can use to self regulate. The strategy to help kids calm down like deep breaths is a tool that they can use in different scenarios inside and outside the classroom. After all, managing emotions is an important component of self regulation that children need to actively practice well into adulthood and will greatly aid them in developing a high degree of emotional intelligence. This video was entertaining and well thought out, definitely will be showing it to my child and sharing it with my friends who have children!
