@@ItsHavender_ I saw from a possible leak that Sugar Glass Cookie won’t be playable in CRK. However the rumor did also mention the possibility of Space Doughnut Cookie coming along with Cinnamon Cookie in the not so far future.

I believe the costume represents Sagittarius the Archer, it makes perfect sense for Moonlight Cookie honestly considering Sagittarius in mythology is “The learned healer whose higher intelligence forms a bridge between Earth and Heaven”.

I think that scene with moonlight in that outfit in it may be a sneak peak of part 2 of the zodiac costumes. However this is just pure speculation on my part.

The fact that her costume rumoured to be released next update along side with sea fairy cookies costume!

Yeah I know.

While Stardust and Dark Enchantress started off fairly similarly as powerful cookies wronged by their respective creators, Stardust was ultimately saved from the dark path because he was shown that his creator still had hope in the rejected dough even if it wasn't the "perfect" moonlit dough they were trying to make. Dark Enchantress never found such an opportunity for redemption in all the years since the night White Lily fell in the ultimate dough

It also appears that they valued perfection so much that it has caused them to develop a twisted approach on things, seeing anyone or anything that doesn’t adhere to their standards as “inferior” or “unwanted”. Moonlight Cookie’s creation was welcomed with open arms (as shown in the planetarium cinema cutscene) while Stardust was thrown out for being a “failed” prototype. Moonlight grew up believing the Wizards were great figures because they saw her as the “perfect” cookie, and treated her with utmost respect, while others like Blueberry Pie (as shown in Crunchy Dreams) were belittled for not reaching the same level of potential as her. Heck, in Pie’s Crunchy Dream sequence, it’s even implied that she was lied to for YEARS about the existence of magic, being told that only a “special” cookie like Moonlight can wield it, which she is “not”. (Side note: the Tome Keeper Wizard knew about this and taught to her about magic in secret. It’s sad because he was the only one of his kind who genuinely cared about her) This meant that Moonlight had to suffer not only the consequences of being left behind as the sole protector of this city, but also the realization that her creators weren’t what she thought they would be, and was treated as such solely because she was their “golden child”. But then again, I’m just here making speculations based on a cookie game so I could be wrong.

This reminds me of certain dark content from the Sonic series. Such as Mephiles killing Sonic (Sonic The Hedgehog 2006), the Ancients wiped out by the ruthless entity, The End (Sonic Frontiers), Shadow’s past (Shadow the Hedgehog 2005), and corrupted data from Sonic Colors: Ultimate (thanks to interference from the glitches).

Oh, and the bad ending of Sonic CD as well, including Johnny Lightfoot’s death from Fleetway’s Sonic The Comic.

That… does make me think of Kronos Island, Rhea Island, and Ouranos Island from Sonic Frontiers. For instance, at Rhea Island, where Sonic nearly got cybernetically corrupted, there is an area similar to where Super Sonic fought Giganto.

I have a feeling that they got lost in the Dark Cacao Kingdom..

Custard III is back at the kingdom, while Chili Pepper is out... doing her own thing

They werent in the Hollyberry Kingdom story either but showed up in the Dark Cacao Kingdom. So its probably an interchangable thing theyre doing with the narrative.

That goes the same for Eggman Gnome, who was also seen as Sage’s father, in both Sonic Frontiers and The Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog. On the other hand, for the NPCs that appear in just Special Records, I refer to them as event NPCs.

But… Sometimes, Cookie Run: Kingdom can be a bit dark, not to mention the dark side of the Sonic series, such as Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), in which Mephiles the Dark, also the Iblis Trigger, killed Sonic before. Not to mention Shadow’s past during the events of Shadow The Hedgehog (2005).
