My theory is that Twizzly Gummy was a part of TBD and left. Then she went to several timelines to mess stuff up. In one of those timelines she meets String Gummy. They fight and Twizzly Gummy boots String Gummy into a time pocket. Now that I type this, my theory makes twizzly gummy similar to Reaper from Overwatch: was part of an organization, left that organization, and did their own thing. But hey, its just a theory. Alright, for the people who was confused with this story progressions, like how in the world that the future Director Croissant Cookie was disappear with the "true" future of Croissant, let me make this clear to you all. Before we begin let's create some points or rules to explain certain scenario of this story of Croissant Cookie overall, which is: 1. Nexus Event - People who watch Loki MCU Series knows what this all about, however, let me explaining it to you in case you didn't know. Nexus Event is an event when the timeline got altered/changed/modified too much up to the point of that timeline branching into another timeline, in which that timeline will be different from the reality of the original timeline supposed to be. TBD (Time Balance Department) was created to fix/control/mend this kinda situation, just like from Cookie Run Kingdom's event with Twizzly Gummy Cookie's Mayhem. I use the name of Nexus Event in order to make it easier for you guys. 2. Doomsday Event - It's an event which is unavoidable nor cannot be ignore by any circumstances, it's the point where the timeline for certain event/people/place/etc. will be end. It will happen like the disastrous event of Tsunami because of the negligence of humans in environmental issues, it might not be soon or later but it will happening none other less because it is unavoidable. You can never escape Doomsday Event because it'll happen eventually, let's just say that you found a way to stop Tsunami, however, the disastrous event of it will be change accordingly to what you have done for it. 3. The timeline wasn't based like from the movie of "Back to the Future Vol. I, II and III", not it's not like that. When you're going to the past, that so-called "past" is actually the present of another timeline, in which in both perspective it was like this; this is the timeline you have passed before, however, in this timeline universe, this event is still happening or ongoing to the point of your timeline, you just happened to go to the timeline that was similar or almost same like yours nonetheless of it. Also, timeline isn't just affecting certain events or place, it was affecting the individual timeline of the living people, meaning the progress of our life is the timeline of itself, but only for ourselves. Why do I make this points to tell you about this? Let me give you something interesting then, which is: 1. The Timeline of Croissant Cookie - Most of you guys didn't realize this nor even talk about this in comment, however, you guys must be forgetting that Croissant Cookie is destined to be Timekeeper Cookie and SUCCESSFUL with it, it is up to the point that she's finally be able to cut the time rift and explore it by herself without her machine, it is said by the Timekeeper Cookie itself. However, in this so-called "future" of Croissant Cookie, her destiny is changed by drastic measures, it is up to the point that it was called as "Time is Over" all over TBD's wall which means it is the end of the end for TBD (Doomsday Event, in which was the end for certain event/people/place/etc.), which means in this timeline "future" she's failed to do her tasks. So, the event was supposed to be not "Save the Future!" in my honest opinion, it should be "Save the Timeline!", 2. The Origin of Timekeeper Cookie - As such, she is Croissant Cookie herself from distant "future", meaning she is from another timeline! However, why does she change the timeline in the first place in her first appearance then? It's still obscure reason or motivation, however, it could be for conquering or subjugation act of another timeline that she never see before. Something must've happened in her own timeline that makes her changing the timeline so frantically. Meaning she might be the bad villain that we don't know just yet, it is evident by how lacking her efforts are in stopping Croissant Cookie making that Time Manipulator, she doesn't care but only wants to see some progress of her own perfect timeline. Maybe this is why TBD was created in the first place, not for maintaining but to experimenting, Croissant Cookie could be a better Timekeeper Cookie than her but in doing so by tempering with her timeline now by creating TBD and even revealing herself as the future Croissant Cookie could be, she could make this Croissant Cookie that we know would later be different than she is supposed to be, meaning what the Timekeeper Cookie is doing now is none other a Nexus Event that wasn't supposed to be happening like her own original timeline would be. I suspect that Timekeeper Cookie never had anyone like the Timekeeper Cookie itself in her timeline, the original timeline being tampering with the time rift idea must be coming from another source albeit it might be somehow unknown to me too, let's just say Millennial Cookie Tree? Her relationship with him are rival but with our Croissant Cookie is admiration, see the contrast? It might have something to do with him thus that's why Timekeeper Cookie is also trying to manipulate our current Croissant Cookie to follow her own steps rather than chasing Millennial Cookie Tree. After all, no same cookie could be in the same Universe at once, it'll break the stability of the Universe and its cosmic energy to maintain 2 timeline at once, but if the person like Timekeeper Cookie had the power of her own to control it, then she can do it. Her story is almost like MCU Kang of the Conqueror, it's almost the same it's uncanny. 3. Why Sting Gummy Cookie is in the Time Pocket? Why right now he can stay in the Croissant Cookie's "past"? - I had a theory that he might be a different variant of Twizzly Gummy Cookie in which he wasn't supposed to be happening but happened, that's why he's in the time pocket, waiting to be destroyed. His story might be a little bit obscure, however, what I know is that he wants a stability for the timeline, which means he's aware that they might have an original timeline and the timeline wasn't supposed to be branching like the current event right now. This also applies to his "variant" Twizzly Gummy Cookie which by means she might know about the timeline, but her mission is to make a chaos all over the place, she might have something happened in her own timeline that leads to her believe that the timeline was meant to be destroy, we never know. I will answer the reason why he can stay after this interesting facts, however, we might never know which one is the original one, him or Twizzly Gummy Cookie, it might be Twizzily did something to his timeline that makes his timeline got cutout from his past, which makes him to be drifted in the time pocket dimension. 4. So, what's the true story then? - To know it you must know one thing, this is purely my own opinion but I think this "future" Director Croissant Cookie is already on the time pocket dimension when her timeline got collapsed, this is might be the reason why she can met String Gummy Cookie because she is in the same dimension as him in the first place. What makes her suddenly sending him to her "past" is because she got connected again with another timeline which just happens to be almost the same as her timeline right now, thus that's why she wanted to destroy it in order to cut it off again and so she can disappear. This is also why she knows exactly every plan that her "past" have and will be doing. So here's how the story goes then: The Nexus Event that was happening to TBD right now is because of the Time Manipulator's doing by the hand of its worker/employee by using it recklessly to trying to see what's the best results of every actions that they do, this lead to the branching timeline all over the places. However, this is beyond bad because they're doing it again and again simultaneously over and over again, the best example was like Dr. Strange's spell from No Way Home, you change it once but this event isn't finished you want to add it more and more of it, it;s like a branch within a branch of the branch which creating even more branches of the branch reality. It's making the timeline convoluted or twisted in which leads to a single one event which is a Doomsday Event because the timeline keeps broken and broken without having the previous one being mend or fix, which leads into a timeline collapse. This event already happened in the distant future, however, what makes it connected is that right now our present Croissant Cookie timeline doing the exact same thing like her alternate version of herself in the distant future, knowing that it was finally connected, the distant "future" Director Croissant Cookie decided to end this thing (see no.4 interesting facts). When her "past" timeline got disappear, so does she will be gone, that was happening because the Time Manipulator and Central Clock powering it got destroyed, it because she had that entanglement she was trapped in another limbo of existence of the time pocket, but now it is finished by String Gummy Cookie and her variant "past" of herself. String Gummy Cookie's timeline as in No.3 point of ruling, isn't stopping because he was sent to the "past" timeline which makes his timeline continue regardless of what's happening in the "future", thus that's why he can stay in the present Croissant Cookie timeline without any consequences at all, even though this is also listed as Nexus Event as it might not supposed to be happening in the original timeline in which I believe in the Timekeeper's Origin is the one that was original. Which leads me to say that Timekeeper Cookie is a bad villain in this story after Dark Enchantress Cookie.

I think it might be because of his origin is going to be SUPER complicated even more than Timekeeper Cookie herself. We all know that Timekeeper Cookie is basically Croissant Cookie from her past in which later she'll be Timekeeper eventually, however, that doesn't apply to Millennial Tree Cookie because of one thing, his origin taking a place within a different background or inspiration. Millennial Tree Cookie took an inspiration from none other than... Yggdrasil Tree of Life! It is said that Yggdrasil Tree of Life has its roots all over the nine realms, giving life, protection, and knowledge to those who seeks it, it's also the closest thing to the Odin's Power itself meaning almost to the God's level being. It is said that "Ygg" means one of the Odin's name while "drasil" is "horse", which mean by its full name it should be Odin's Horse which a personal belonging to the God itself. In the Poetic Edda and Prose Edda of the 13th Century's book, there's complied document about Yggdrasil being the center of the universe or cosmos, wait cosmos? Which means it's a universe, right? It's also noted that in Millennial Tree Cookie's story, his story consist of him being the ruler of this "Earthbread" (CRK confirmed the name of this Cookie Run we are playing right now), coincidence? I think not! Also, the symbolic meaning for Yggdrasil is the believe in the cyclical nature of life, in which everything and anything is in a constant state of transformation according to Norse's belief. It is also represent as a powerful symbol of both immortal and mortal while its roots are representing the nine realms it's holding. So, in my assumption about him, I believe him that he is to be the most powerful being than Timekeeper Cookie. She needs her time scissor while Millennial Tree Cookie isn't, it's weird isn't it? We see how effortlessly he used his skill to slow down the time and floating in the air while his magic do his bidding while Timekeeper Cookie has to swinging her weapon the time scissor all the time if she wanted to open the time rift. In this skills we can assume of one thing, he own this timeline and she's invading it, however, cannot control it as long as he remains active or awaken. The reason why he said a power to control the time isn't supposed to be use as such is because that wasn't how it supposed to be, he represent the time itself by metaphorical meaning. He knows what to do with it, meaning in my opinion, without TBD itself, the flowing of proper time si going to be just fine as long as he was remain. but TBD appearing in every universe because of an unknown reason, it might have something to do with TImekeeper's original timeline.
Dude, Imagine how cool it would be if future timekeeper came back from their time pocket to check on their timeline, just to see that it was all gone. that would be so sad and heartbreaking maybe they could go back to the present timeline to confront croissant, SGC and TK and it would be one of those scenes where character 1 knows that they didn’t have a choice and had to do it for the sake of (in this case, the timeline) and character 2 only has one side of the story, making them think that character 1 destroyed their timeline for fun or something?

I wonder that the future croissant cookie disappear and become timekeeper cookie. It's possible two timekeeper cookie are different personality and appearance. One is cheerful and doesn't care less and two is want to end TBD and think is all meaningless. There so many theory that I could think of. This story couldn't explain why the future timekeeper cookie don't like TBD. I wish they put CRK, so there will be more story about it.
Are you saying Director Croissant Cookie became the current Timekeeper Cookie? While that's possible, I don't think it's the case here. Director Croissant still looks like she enjoys being a mechanic, but the current Timekeeper doesn't seem to do so, or even have the will of being a mechanic. I believe Timekeeper is yet another timeline out of this event, which results in her being the Director of the TBD beforehand.
My respect and love for Timekeeper cookie increased, don't really like how the event played but the storyline was hella awesome as always! Love those events about time!
To all those who don't get the it why future director croissant cookie disappear because it's the bad future but since the current croissant cookie save the future the future where croissant cookie is the director disappear and in the good future time keeper cookie is still the director and the reason why string gummy cookie didn't disappear is because when he fell in a time pocket all of his timeline got erased and the moment the bad future timeline future director croissant cookie save string gummy cookie she saw the original timeline where string gummy cookie came from

Alright, this might be a little bit too long for me to explain but bear it with me. Here's the thing with the timeline, it wasn't like the movie from "Back to the Future!" at all, when you go to the past, that so-called "past" is actually from another timeline in which is just happened to be almost the same like your own timeline, in which in that timeline's perspective, that events you have passed before in your timeline are still happening in that timeline. That's why it can be safe to say that there's a tons of Croissant Cookie in which can be Timekeeper Cookie or Director Croissant Cookie or anything else entirely. In every timeline, there's an event called Nexus Event in which if you changing the timeline too much, the timeline will branch and creates more variant of the timeline itself which wasn't allowed because it will be different from what it's supposed to be, if you watch Loki, it'll be easier for you to understand because I even use the naming term for the event following the MCU one. What I meant is this, because of the Time Manipulator exist in each pocket of TBD's worker, they're using it recklessly up to the point the timeline itself branching uncontrollably, creating more and more variant of the future and catastrophe, why I am sounding it like it was a 100% sure will be a catastrophic event? Because the branch itself that was happening is or are creating even more branching which leads into branch of the branch and so on, by which eventually the timeline was no longer can be controlled and lead into one single event that will be happening into this every branch timeline which is a Doomsday Event, the event that you cannot ignore or even avoid because the event of it was because of the accumulations of that branching, leading into collapse of the timeline itself and broken of the timeline. Did you want to know something? In case you forgot, Croissant Cookie is supposed to be the next Director BUT as the Timekeeper Cookie in which she's SUCCESSFUL up to the point that she was able to crossover from one timeline to another without her machine. However, in another timeline which the Nexus Event is happening, her future/possibility wasn't so great or even we can call it dystopian. In this theory alone we can conclude one thing, Timekeeper Cookie we have right now isn't coming from this timeline but another timeline, in which just like Kang the Conquer from MCU Loki series, she tried to invading another timeline right now, we just don't know it yet. Timekeeper Cookie creating this so-called TBD to maintain but also experimenting this timeline's progress in which this is why she didn't stop Croissant Cookie creating that Time Manipulator at all. It's also safe to say that this current timeline of Croissant Cookie right now is possibly one of the Nexus Event from Timekeeper Cookie's doing, because she's supposed to know everything in timeline supposed to be, however, let's just assume that this timeline is the "original" timeline, for now. In this "original" timeline, the cause for that Nexus Event was because of the Time Manipulator and Central Clock powering it, thus by destroying that will also erase the Nexus Event happening to all branches of the timeline as it was never exist in the first place. That's the reason why the "future" Director Croissant Cookie is erased from the timeline, because her timeline was just been cut from the timeline that was supposed to be connecting to the timeline, without that connection, she'll be just another time pocket or time hole with the timeline that never exist, which soon will be gone eventually. However, by this event we can assume one thing too, our Croissant Cookie will be a different Timekeeper Cookie than this unknown Timekeeper Cookie which I assume she came from different timeline, and it might be best to assume that her reason for doing some changes in the timelines before are because of something happened in her own original timeline, we may never know her reason but it might be bad for her and thus she's doing it in this timeline... She might be the biggest next villain after Dark Enchantress Cookie if she wanted it.

Headcanon: when string gummy cookie was younger his home was in ruins and barely anybody was left. After years of loneliness he wanted to change the future to save his people. He heard of the first TBT and he wanted to change past, unfortunately he had to steal things to create a time craft and along the way he created a gummy rifle. After years of hard work he finally crafted a time machine but he failed to properly check it for safety, and without any actual direction on how to move through time he quickly got stuck in a time pocket.

I don't know if this will explain everything to you So when CC created the time manipulators a branch of timelines has been created too before CC meets SGC...the future CC saved SGC from the time pocket by the time SGC got save by Future CC Future TK witness herself disappeared in every timeline repeatedly and it caused by the time manipulators so that Future TK gave up on TBD then she entered in a time pocket and never see her again. After that the TBD decided to make Future CC as a director Despite the fact their town was destroyed by a time manipulators she talked to SGC and she asked him to go in the past using a time manipulator and destroy every single time manipulators from the past (including his time manipulator) to fix everything. In the last operation time guard tk stated herself she was from a different timeline, she only messed with croissant because she was the only croissant out of the other timelines that will become tk as well. But since croissant chose to not be tk at the end she got even more excited and became her friend that's also why director cc got depressed when future tk isolated herself
