I really wished that cookiezi in 3 years is actually just practicing different skills or improving them, then would come back and FC some impossible to FC maps...

Hand injury, eye sight worsening, lost of interest in the game. He's a man ahead of anyones time and gets nerfed for being so. Truly my number 1 player in my book no matter how high pp plays any top players now make.

Tbh players do beat him in specific skills but no one is as good of an all-rounder as Shige. His HD and finger control are pretty much still unrivaled to this day. His aim has been outmatched by Whitecat and mrekk BUT he still had aim spooks that put him on or even above their levels. He's just not as consistent as those two are with monster aim plays. This play (and day for him b/c of Yume Chizu HDHR) was an aim spook day for Shige so he had that going for him on top of the sightread. Also PP is good at measuring certain things but not others. Technically Shige had the first 900 with FDFD now but that only goes to show how PP is balanced by what people think is fair rather than what is actually fair. It's why he didn't care about RoR for example, because while the PP was big, the map wasn't fun for him.

@@vp7219 tbh the only thing he has now in the aim skill department is flow aim. Time just goes on forward and Cookiezi's unrivaled all round abilities will be surpassed someday.

Wild he still has the skill of a top 10 player even in 2023 with being unbeaten in flowaim + hd master, cookiezi for a decade, over 10 years had dominated osu and even now while not playing competitively, he pulls out insane scores (rubiks cube 3 miss) and even choking the pp record, he's the goat for a reason

It's not that he didn't want to set pp records, it's just that farming for a pp record is tedious and combined with his aim hand hurting made it unenjoyable and not worth it at all. His time on being considered the best player was already counting down when the pain started to increase.
