I absolutely love this. I love Hal Linden. I remember watching Barney Miller as a little kid in the 70's. I still watch it and actually was watching it earlier tonight. It was great hearing about him growing up and you could see he was happy talking about his parents. Thank you Chris for this special episode

Still sharp as a tack. I just watched Barney Miller on Antenna TV. He and Max Gail are the only male regulars still alive. (I think) .

Really great to see this.

I never saw Mr. Linden's television programs, but I always thought he was such nice, gentle man and enjoyed seeing him where ever I saw him. Had a feeling that he was one of the nicest men in show business. It's astounding to learn about his actual career, starting when he was fifteen; and to find.out that he was such a talented young man in every important way. I'm so impressed, from his conducting and singing to doing summer stock and then Broadway. Love learning all this and imagining it all!
