Will something else be planted after the soybeans? In my region of Canada, we can do some succession planting but our season is shorter and the cold can come on early sometimes. Now is the time to plant some things for an early fall crop. In the middle of August I can plant the cold tolerant plants for the last time until spring. Some of the plants can survive the winter and pop up in the spring.
