Tati don't throw away the cooked taro water. The water is full of richness. Use some of the water to cook the stew, dissolve the agushi and rinse the asanka. I would like you to try steamming your taro and also sautee using the same ingredients. The flavor is amazing.

@@TatianaHaina I use to think the same until a friend introduced me to other ways. Chop the leaves smaller for steamming and sauteeing

Yes that is not salmon that is mackerel.salmon is pink.

I the way you are using the pot to cook that's village life thats what every village in my town use its very healthy lifestyle and it's traditional way of cooking.

You should have washed the taro leaves thoroughly before cutting them to get rid of all the dirt or any insects attached to the leaves. The insects are already cut into pieces and washing the leaves afterwards with so little water as you did can't get off. Lastly the leaves are not be precooked this recipe, it makes it too overcooked. You threw away most of the nutritions. Tips, add fresh snails next time and you'll really love it.

Totally agree with you and was about to make the same comment. She could have just washed the leaves with hot water instead of boiling it but using it fresh is the best.

Especially after raising all the dust by sweeping. The food items were there on display while the sweeping was going on. 😮 A furry microphone cover thing is needed for windy days also.

Looks delicious. Good that you are teaching most Ghanaians to say mackerel not salmon. Tell Priscilla to google salmon so she will know the difference. I am very surprised she lives in the UK and doesn’t know the difference between mackerel and salmon. 😀👍🏾❤️

We Nigerians don't want to adopt the name Nigerian salmon. Leave it for Abidjan 😂😂😂 It is mackerel! (though we also call it Titus fish😂😂). Delicious looking meal.
