I absolutely loved this and loved the Karen Pirie series! Val's "Clue" apron she was wearing was a delight

I just finished Still Life, I love the Karen Pirie series, and yay for books+cooking, best combo ever (as food in film!)!

I read this in Still Life & it didn't appeal. I like the basic porridge with some cinnamon for sweetness and chia seeds for extra health.
