I traveled many Countries in the past 30 years ago I quite often got asked where was my favored Place, well place was India, but favorite/ BEST people were always Turkish people. After and watching your videos I know I was right, they are great people.

I am living vicariously through this channel. I miss Türkiye, I miss the people, the culture and the experience as a traveller. That friendliness, helpfulness and kindness they always show to people. I look forward to being able travel again and first on my list is 🇹🇷. Great video as usual Marianne and Chris. Keep it up 🇹🇷👍🏻
I love turkish food. It really is amazing. Their food tastes GREAT and they grow alot of their own food and it tastes so much better. I miss turkey. And I miss the people
Can you really imagine ever leaving Turkey??? The rich experiences and wonderful people... not to mention the food! If you do actually leave, I’m certain you will be back.
@@socialcreditdepartment the problem isnt the economy its the dollar-tl exchange rate which is just another way to keep turkey under control, just politics. Otherwise noone would get free vaccines and country would have already started to ask loans from world bank and stuff, since pandemic times are the worst times for economies
Have been following you for a while now. But have only just now seen this video LOL love it, such an amazing experience. Very glad you had the opportunity to experience it.

That Turkish delights box has killed me I would to say ... Please do more of these every new spot you travel in Turkey ... Great thanks and respects ...
Lovely chef and very informative. Just shows that cooking in a van with limited space can be just as delicious! The food looked great. Fantastic video!!

Thank you very much to Chef Hüseyin, who is an excellent knowledge base, for the wonderful recipe, we watched a superfood feast, Thank you very much to Chris and Marianne for hosting,
I'm a vegan in Turkey and that chickpea dish without the meat is my saviour! All you do is just simply put a little bit more cumin than usual and it just tastes so good
A personal chef while living in a van. And city folks feel sorry for people who live in their cars. Thoroughly enjoyed this video and certainly a first. Keep those surprises coming.
So lovely to have Hüseyin appear again! And how generous of him to share his birthday with you! I liked his smart briefcase for his knives. It's so fascinating watching people making things they've spent years doing. The muscle memory makes it look easy & effortless, even though I know it's not! ❤😎👍xx
It was great to have him back ... when we found out (he did not tell us) that it was his birthday ... we could not believe it !! But he said he chose this day as it would be lovely for him to be with us .... you can only imagine how grateful we were ... what another lovely friend we have made 💐 Sorry it has been a few days for me to reply ... we are rebuilding our website ... lots of work !! woo hoo !
Mmmmm!! I could almost smell all that wonderful Cheese. Another brilliant Video, I am off to check out the Link for the Turkish Goodies. Thank You for sharing. Patricia x🏴🏴
Hello Marian and Chris I don't know if you find out about the sweet you ate in Marmaris. It's called chestnut desert. 🌰 Thank you for showing nice places and foods mmm 😊
Wow guys!!! You went all out with this one!! This was a jam packed video and I loved it so much! I kept replaying the cooking part as I’ll be making it for dinner this week! What a fantastic experience to cook all that in a van! Happy birthday to the most awesome chef ever! If you can do more cooking video like this in the van that would be amazing!!
Wow. What an episode! Great food and excellent commentary about the food and techniques. Wonderful people to show you their proud food and skills. Thanks.

I really enjoyed this vlog. It was nice to laugh and forget about the world`s problems for a minute. I am married but, I really have a crush on the chef 😂😂
That seems great! You know what? You need to plan a trip to Gaziantep (the gastronomy capital of Turkey) for the best ever Turkish food! Including more than 400 dishes, Gaziantep cuisine is very famous in Turkey (it is also included in UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a city of gastronomy) and people go there just to eat delicious food :)
Hello Our Dears Marianne and Chris ! First of all : Happy Birthday Hüseyin Abi. Hüseyin's invitation and cooking in your van was really a new experience. We love traditional Turkish food. Me and my daughter always watch and enjoy your videos. We travelled to Fethiye last August and miss the place so much. We would love to move to Turkey. The chef Is so handsome. Hope he features in some of your future videos 😍😍
There are so many kind of keşkek type in Turkey that i see a new type in this video. Actually real keşkek is cooked slowly abaout ten hour in a stone owen with dried salty cow bone and weath in a cuper pan.
Thanks for another great vlog Marienne and Chris! You made my Sunday breakfast a better experience :) I am getting a feeling that your round the world trip will stop in Southern Turkey even if the borders get open again 😂 I mean who is going to drive all the way through ruthless Central Asia 😂 1000 years ago Turks wouldn’t come all the way from Asia if it was easy living there in the first place 😂
Turks have a long history with germans but in a short time we become besties with English people, this is because English being down to earth decent humble people...
Absolutely love watching and living through your videos..Turkey is love of my life ..wanted to ask you which part of Turkey is better off of for visiting these days as I am planning a trip to turkey in mid may..
