Whole block of butter Every time, definitely the secret 🙌 double cream splash of milk... I do my tatties here in Scotland the same way, try boiling some onion with the tatties and adding cheese or sour cream.... Chop the butter into smaller chunks, melts quicker and easier to smash the tatties. X

Get a cake mixer and whip those taters they get really fluffy. Daughter in law knows how mashed taters are made .. The butter with heavy cream oh I know what I'm making .... Yummmmm
I just realise why my mashed potato wasn’t a favourite. I only use confit garlic oil. I should start using heavy cream, cheese and blocks of butter for my mash potato
