Cooking with Nonno (Sicilian Pesto) 

Today I made Pesto alla Trapanese, also known as Sicilian Pesto with Nonno.
This is a traditional pesto from the Trapani region of Sicily which is where Nonno is from. He also used to be the chef for the Italian Navy!
We usually add the cheese on top of our plate along with Pangrattato which are toasted breadcrumbs.
