Either solving disease, finding less harmful chemicals which can be used, etc... But when chemistry is done for nefarious purposes, like drug synthesis, often times that actions ruins people's lives, which is symbolised by the devil costume

In 1999, the Union Pacific Railroad refused to give us access to their property to cover due diligence for our client, who had an underground storage tank that leaked. The contamination clearly went on to the neighboring property. They refused access and assumed all liability. That's like saying we will never get in trouble. It's disgusting.

And for some of those folks, this will likely be their last time seeing _anything_ at .75x-speed for quite some time.

Most def, I’ve read some of his stuff over the years..he’s something of an urban legend amongst anyone who went to school for chemistry in WI. For a guy that dedicated entire chapters to “staying safe” and bashing the police and their tactics….he sure got comfortable and careless. Doing this show was one of the dumbest things he could’ve done and he’s nuts if he thinks it didn’t have something to do with his arrest (he thinks his neighbors are setting him up/out to get him)…he was seen climbing up into the 2nd story of his boarded up house via ladder when he bonded out the 2nd time, and GBPD also had to remove another tweaker who had broken into the basement and was sleeping in there/looking for hidden stash… I live in the area. Fester hired an attorney with a degree in chemistry and is basing his entire defense on the fact that the police “didn’t know what they were looking at”…so far one of his numerous charges has been dropped - posession of cocaine, the police mistook glorified table salt for cocaine so..judge threw that one out but they have him dead to rights on everything else…they had to act, he was getting way too bold and way too obvious. If anyone’s curious or wants to see more of this episode/a few more minutes of fester, including the initial steps he took before taking the route seen in this clip, the episode is called “a positive methamphetamine story” or something to that extent, fester takes up the 2nd half of the episode.

I think it was faked towards the end, when "synthesizes" P2P from P2NP they do not show the P2P, also when the freebase methylamine is added to the methanol there is no color change, imines have a longer band of absorption of light and are often greenish, brown, red, etc. I personally do not think any of it worked, up to the phenyl-2-nitropropene synthesis, which is still decent but very amateurish.
