I do not have this one bust I de have a WestBend electric skillet and I do everything from scramble an egg to cook a steak to boil noodles in it. It is an all around great thing to have. I assume that these are the same style as the one I have. If you live in a smaller apartment or are a bit older and don't cook as much as you used to then I suggest you getting something like these.

Deborah Barrett - I have the Presto 8qt Multi cooker, and that sucker is a boiler, fryer, roaster, and steamer. I have cooked some off the hook oxtails, and other types meats/foods. If you buy the skillet, you probably would have to buy a 10lb roast. It's like cooking it on a stove top. You brown the outside first on a medium-hi heat, uncovered, then you lower the temperature to medium-low, or low heat, and let it simmer for an hour or two. Or, you can cover it from the start, and let it cook for a few hours on a medium-low heat. The temperature for that on a an electric skillet is between warm, and 200°.
Someone PLEASE Answer.....I NEED to store this in a storage container.....BUT, I don’t know what size QT Container that it would fit into?!? HELP !!!! 🌻🌻🌻
i've seen people make cakes and brownies in electric skillets, just turn the temp down to two hundred or two fifty and it may take a it longer to cook.
