I did this once with a spare Travis board and a Billy Ic from one I parted out, and put it in a billy Jr eventually the board got to the point where the audio would slow down when the head would move and then the part that holds the IC in snapped Eventually put the IC onto a billy bones board to fix it (this didn’t last very long because the Jr also got parted eventually)
