Cool Custom Cabover - Bill Rethwisch's first truck 

I'm 74. I lost my son 46 years. I talk to him everyday and think about him all through the day, everyday. As interesting as the content of this video is, my favorite part has nothing to do with the trucks. It's the interaction between father and son. The pride and the love the two of you have for each other is unmistakable. Y'all are very lucky.

I really like bill and his attitude. He's the kind of people you want to work for and go out of your way to work for because they treat you right. 40 years in this business and it's hard to find good bosses. Nothing but much respect for Bill. 🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸

I still have my first semi truck. A 1970 Kenworth W900A that I drive every day. Not the prettiest and has no power steering and and A/C with a crawl through 36 inch bunk. Had it 43 years now

My dad drove Freightliner Cabovers hauling beer from La Crosse, Wi to Chicago everyday in the 70's and 80's. I bet Bill remembers all The Old Style trucks running I-90 back then!

DANG...I drove a new Freightshaker cabover just like that one but with a CAT 3406B [425 HP], 13 speed back in the day - put over 700,000 miles on it without a scratch before overhaul. Lots of good memories, especially being able to hang out in the Monfort lane shaking the trees while others raked the leaves. And Bill is right about drivers back then - we always looked out for each other. Glad you're taking good care of that 'gem' Bill...tis a gleam machine! And Fred's cabover...I remember Schneider trucking had a ton of those 'pumpkin patch' International cabovers - I passed a lot of them...gave them a wide berth too! Fred...you got a 'gem' too! Thanks for the great video - keep them rolling!
