it's honestly so interesting to watch someone create all these tips to 'survive winter' and such because winter is my favourite season, i love it, i love the snow and the darkness and cold, and I hate summer so much when its so hot and you cant do anything. So it's fascinating to see this other point of view, its fascinating that there are people who actually dont like winter when its literally the best! (in my opinion ofc)

Yes, me too! Half the video I was like "well duh" but then I realised not everybody is like me and it's interesting to see! TBH I'd need something like this for summer because I totally hate summer and there's no way to romanticize it for me (yet). :D

For me it was getting to the root of why I had seasonal depression. I realized that after Christmas there was nothing big or exciting to look forward to so I had to come up with small things to look forward to constantly to help me from Jan to March. It’s helped tremendously

I think it would be really fun to see you incorporate french language learning into some of these vlogs. Either a goals video, a language plan for incorporating into your routine or a small language challenge. Like maybe a week themed around incorporating language learning every day for a week. :) Loving all your content so much!

Diane in Demark on her videos for Fridays is providing four self-care missions you could choose from for the week. Like this week one of them is create new outfits! Jashii Corrin also has nice videos about journaling.

Reading and picking up other indoor hobbies has really helped me with my SAD! I've gotten so much better at dealing with it the past few years, especially after Christmas when it feels just gloomy and there are no festivities to look forward to, you kind of have to make checkpoints and events up for yourself! I am also now convinced I need a paint by numbers set!

I have had to learn to let go of being a perfectionist also. I used to be so hard on myself when I didnt get something perfect and I have had to learn that I can't be doing that and that things don't have to be perfect because nothing is ever perfect and it shows I'm human. It's good to hear you happy and sticking to your goals and not being so hard on yourself. You're videos truly are an inspiration for me. I hope one day to grow as much as you have. It's been a pleasure to watch you grow. Also Raspberries are the best ❤ ❤

I love winter but struggle bad with seasonal & holiday depression. I love being home, the snow, the cold, but hate the lack of sun so much because it makes me suffer 😂 ive just learned to remind myself that it's temporary and just ride it out through coping mechanisms the best i can.

HIGHLY recommend A Marvellous Light. It starts a little slow, but when it hits its stride, about 80-100 pages in, it GETS THERE.

Hailey, I don't know what it is about Paint by numbers that you're having issues with, but here's a tip. I love these! TIP: Pick a number, any number on the canvas, print etc ..., take that colour/number and just colour in a section of that number and so on, before you know it the painting will flow . . .

January was the worst for me this year, we barely had any sunlight 😢 BUT February has been pretty great, the sun is shining and the weather is pretty warm for this time of the month in Quebec - I’ll take it! 🥲 Happy you’ve managed to beat the seasonal depression cycle!
