Nephi I never make death threats to anyone, that's just stupid. But I agree that some animal rights activists (even though their goals are admirable) act very stupid and exaggerated. But I am not that kind of person. Nevertheless I think animal abuse should NEVER be downplayed. I'm pretty sure that guinea pig didn't enjoy being on that slide. They are very sensitive and should be handled CAREFUL.

Yes, it is a very bad idea. Their legs are too short for them to catch up, so they open their lips and break their teeth. If they fall badly, they can break their legs or pelvis. Stress shortens their lifespan, cause them to lose weight and lose their coat. It's a very VERY bad idea.

I totally agree. I have grown up with having them as pets. Guinea pigs are so fragile. They can barley take anything. When I was little my sister had a friend over. She held her Guinea pig and accidentally dropped her on the floor, remember this child was not tall. She was like 8 years or something. The Guinea pig (Her name was Pepsi) broke her foot. Sadly there wasn't much we could do. We had to put her down. So letting that Guinea pig down the slide is just cruel. With that speed and drop it could damage it and why on earth would you do that!? It's animal abuse! When you know how fragile they are! Guinea pigs also get easily scared. It's in their nature. Read a book, any book about them and you will understand. It says constantly to speak to them softly, handle the, gently with care. Otherwise they might get scared or hurt. Btw they hate being held upside down. They are not babies. If you hold them upside down it feels like falling to them. You have to remember big birds are their natural predator. Which is why you need to speak softly to them before picking them up. So they know it's you. If you just grab them, they get scared. It's in their nature. They can't even defend themselves. Guinea pigs are amazing pets, they are know not to bite. They might nibble to try and find food, but really rarely they bite. Like hamsters do. If you raise them properly they won't even nibble. Please read up on your pet, before getting one. Why is this such a big issue? Just like cats. They get hated and mistreated because the owner does not bother to read up on the pet and mistreats it. Getting angry at the pet because of a simple misunderstanding. Something that is easily explained.

Lina They're hard to take care of, they fight sometimes, they crap everywhere, they will wake you up in the morning for food (squeaking a lot) and other stuff

Lina they make very good pets. I have 3. if you really want and can afford it and are willing to take care of it, I'd 100% recomend getting one.

Yeah uhm, No that is normal wheeking, If your guinea pig doesnt wheek something is likely to be wrong with the vocal chords or dental issues. Wheeking is the way a guinea pig talks, And the rumble strut purring before he stopped recording is usually from dominance and scenting, There was some sort of smell on the owner that attracted the piggy. Yes though the plastic bag one is also terrible

There still could have been a very possible injury though, just because it wasn't fatal doesn't mean it's okay for someone to do that to their poor piggy. It's NOT okay, don't try to justify an action like that. It's plain animal abuse, intentional or not, and there's no valid justification for animal abuse, ever.
