If your insole is glued down, just rip it up. That's what I did with these shoes. When you tie the knot under the insole, tie it towards the inside arch of your foot so you don't feel it. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck.

I did it with my high tops. If you have more holes/eyelets in your shoes, start from the 4th one from the bottom. If you follow this correctly, you'll have laces in the 1st, 4th and 6th ones from the bottom. Put the laces through the remaining holes and tie them under the insole. Worked for me

I struggled a lot with my Puma Brasil Football shoes because they have thick laces and tight holes.After a long time of fiddling with them the laces got little fuzzy hairs but it's still nice. I'll probably buy some fluorescent laces and put them on the same way.

i did it and it works but the end of the lace that i used for the design gets so short (i want to be able to tie them at the end) so i kept retrying and its still so short 😂 i love the design though!!

Such a nice and helpful video. I got new shoes and couldn't decide which design I should do............ Then I found this vid and did this design on my new shoes now they look amazing and I can't even feel the knot ......... And just a little tip do a different colour of laces then the colour of your shoes

+Terrill Davis It should work with converse shoes. If you have more than 6 eyelets, you might have to do it a little different from the video.

Thanks. I googled something like "cool ways to lace shoes". It was kind of hard to figure out how to do it because there wasn't a video on how to do it, so I made one. I made up the tying the laces under the insole part when I was a kid.

StopperMan11 I used a tape measure. The shoes are size 13 and the distance between the eyelets from side to side on these shoes is bigger than average. So that's why the laces are bigger than average. Everyone shoes will come with shoe laces that fit those specific shoes. So people should be able to Star Lace their shoes with the laces that came with them.

Zack Fallah It'll still work, just use the 1st, 3rd, and 5th eyelets on your shoes, instead of the 1st, 4th, and 6th eyelets like I did (counting from the bottom up).

Eyelets are the holes. Start counting from the bottom.
