My brother just sent me one. The slider bars on the bottom of the text screen can also speed up and slow down the text as well. It will also display your text according to the display mode you set in the 'light' screen (ie. left-right, up-down, laser, snowflake, etc).
I bought it and the battery was defective. Didn't have time to order a new one, so if it happens to you, just go to your local electronic component store and get a new battery. The one that comes with this hat has been flooded with glue to prevent you from tampering with the circuitry. So I had to dremel and chip my way through the hard glue and plastic casing to expose the rear battery + - ends. Once they were accessible, I then soldered the new red and black wires. Almost like a jump start. You can't completely get rid of the existing battery because it's glued to the chip that controls the bluetooth signal and the LED strip. So You're attaching a good battery on top of a bad battery.
Can someone tell me why my hat wont connect to my bluetube i did everything? I cant find the answer i need from looking at these vidos or when i google it?
that usually means that the music you are using has DRM (digital Rights management) embedded into the audio track. You will need to find a piece of software that can remove that.
@@gregtoope I'm in the same boat. I cannot get the hat to pair with the KangaROOS app, no matter what I do. Only explanation I can give is that the LED's Bluetooth is defective or that I'm not doing something to the LED when the pairing process is in progress to confirm the pair.
After many more tries and reading about other displays online, I'm convinced the LED board on the hat is not properly programmed. It will acknowledge the Bluetooth from my phone trying to connect with it, but does not confirm/accept the connection.
Cruisn Canada Luckily I can fix just about anything I cut another slot on the other side of the display and took it out and flipped it right side up and put everything on the right side sewed it in a loop for my battery i’m good to go now.
Hey man thanks for all the feedback and thanks for responding so quickly it is an awesome hat I’m enjoying it I was going to ask you roughly how long did it take to fully charge and how do you know when it’s fully charged?
@@Tazberry777 great question. I just charge mine overnight so it's charged in the morning. my guess would be that it should fully charge in an hour or so. Not a very big battery in that hat!
