Cool N' Easy Strawberry Pie 

I made this for Christmas this year 2019 and my entire family just loved it. Definitely keeping this pie recipe.

Years ago I used to make different versions of this as a top layer for jello and totally forgot how I did it. The ice step brought it all back. Thanks!

That's almost exactly same pie I made as a kid 50 years ago. The filling is same but topped with cool whip then strawberry slices on top. Thanks for trip down memory lane.

It took me two hours to mix it but it was really good and why was it watery after I got out of the free fridge raider I don’t really like this recipe but the pie was really good

Can/should I reduce the amount of cool whip, say, to half a tub? Looks like from your video, there's a lot of unused (leftover) filling, and because I think I only have a half of cool whip at home 😁

We don't have cool whip in Australia. What can I use instead?
