Not sure of you’re receptive to improvements tips... but your “device 👉🏼 Link” list in the description would benefit from time stamps. Specifically watching a long video is going to be difficult for most viewers who are trying to learn something on break or the commode 😁, time stamps would enable -me- people to say keyboard, nah, ear thingys, nah... iPad Pro case/kB YES! And skip to that point. Just a thought.
I don’t understand how the algorithm has not gained you more subscribers. You are fantastic my guy. I love your content and your videos have watched so many.
My iPad Air is getting delivered today. I’m so excited and I’ll definitely be using your videos for shortcuts and apps to get it set up. Thanks so much! I wouldn’t have known everything I could do with an iPad if it weren’t for your videos.
I saw one of your videos a year ago now and I subscribed immediately! At the end of 2020 I finally switched to iPad Pro and I‘m using it every day! Thanks :)
There’s a version of the dongle that you can clip that fits with the magic keyboard! I just picked one up myself. It’s the same design, just a little wider
I had the Baseus corner dongle for my 11" iPad Pro, but was a bit peeved when I got the Magic Keyboard and found it wouldn't fit. I got a Hommie equivalent that fits along the edge.
Chris, those rings need completing man! 4:39 and 3 hours of stand goals?! Love the video as always mate! Might check out that sports loop, I've been meaning to get a new band for my watch.
Hey Chris. Any chance you can do a video on running shortcuts from an apple watch and having them run on your ipad or iphone. I tried looking around but could not see any resource. If anyone can do magic with shortcuts. I'm sure it'll be you.
I'm happy with my MX Keys! Works with every device I own (iPad, iPhone, Mac Mini and PC)! Waiting for my MX Master mouse. Awesome video Christopher!!! Thank you!
I have ordered those CharJen AirFoams Pro Foams & Ear Hooks and they are great. Especially for running. It is also true that I needed a size smaller than the original ear tips. Thank you for your advice.
Got my first mechanical keyboard the Keychron K2 version 2. Affordable related to others that are wireless. I bring my office with me everywhere. I use a MacBook Pro and iPad and really like the Keychron. I like being mobile and having the tactile feel of the keyboard.
Great video and helpful - it is so difficult to sort through all the gadgets available from third party vendors. ...and, let's face it, many of the good accessories are not cheap. I really liked the keyboards. Definitely looking at those. Subscribed!
Nice vid! Any chance you could do a future video just focused on Paper-like (not sponsored)? I’m debating whether I should pick one up over a glass screen protector.
Got my Luna Display Saturday. Waiting on my new Mac Mini to use it with. I tested it with my MacBook Pro. If my kids didn’t need it, I would get rid of it once the Mini arrives. 😎
Chris you mentioned a good point about the Homepod Mini not having that oomph enough to listen to Music. Exactly my thoughts and what I feel they just do not have nough Bass to make you feel groovy or enjoy the Music. A lot of people just got overwhelmed when they were first launched. But Frankly they suck in Music Listening Department. So you are right they can be put to good use as a Shortcuts Hub so that you do not have to reach for your Apple Device to run something (Lights, AC, TV etc...) But for stand alone Music The Homepod Mini Suck Biog Time !!
Thanks for this video. SO the lunar display for me is very interesting. I also have an iPad and an M1 Mac mini and no apple laptop. So sometimes I want to do things that I would normally do on a Mac mini on my iPad. For example make music or even run some programs they do not have an iPad app for. Im going to look into this and see if that will work.
Hi, Chris, I am due for a new mech keyboard. I wonder if you ever tried Filco mech. keyboards and if so how does this keyboard compare with Filco in terms of the typing feel.
Hey Chris, might be a bit tangential, but would love to know your thoughts on DAS keyboard. I am presently using Anne Pro 2 (60%) and it feels a bit cramped. Like you, I, too, like blue switches. Is there a particular board you would recommend?
Have you thought about trying out any coustom keyboards? I made my dive into coustoms about 6 months ago and I want to say the difference is day and night compared to a keycron
Bro, I LOVE your content, you’ve made my working process MUCH MUCH more productive. To perform even better I tried to get your shortcuts but all the links say that the shortcut is not found or the link is expired 🥲. Please, help me become more productive!
Hi there! Thanks to you, now I’m using my 2018 iPad pro 11” more often and even is replacing my laptop, but there is one thing that I’ve noticed; this doesn’t happen often but twice in the last 9 months. I’m using it and all of a sudden, it closes all apps and with a black screen starts to charge, then goes to the block screen and functions as usual. Should I worry? Thanks for your advice!
@@ChrisLawley excited for that one! That seems quite genius - I would love to try that for video editing and Lightroom classic, but I am curious about the limitations?
Hey Chris, my cousin recently introduced me to your channel, good stuff bro! Quick Q, if I work exclusively on an iPad, am I able to get the same functions on things such as Chrome? eg casting to a TV or extensions that block like Adblock
Chris, Great video as usual. How is the Logitech mouse 3 ? Does it sideways scroll using apps like numbers on ipad ? My original Logitech doesn’t work with this.
Hi Christopher, I’m new to your channel and I my impression is that you are awesome. But I have one problem. When I go to your shortcuts list in description it says “can’t find shortcut”. It happens every time on all your videos with shortcut links. Do you have any idea why?
The C1 is not great compared to Keychron's other keyboards. It's too thick to use without a wrist pad, the cable is annoying and the keys wobble and feel cheaper than their other models, I'm returning mine. The K1 V4 works best for me, but I kept having to charge it because I didn't like the auto-shutoff and I kept RGB lights on often. I might give it another shot though. If you have the extra $30-40 to spend get one of their wireless models (which can be used in wired mode too if you need it) the quality is higher.
For a $50 mechanical keyboard I like it! Yeah there’s better ones but it’s going to cost more. I prefer my code mechanical keyboard but the C1 is less then a third of the price. I wanted to feature something that was more budget friendly. Plus right now it’s one of the few keychron keyboards that lets you swap out switches.
@@ChrisLawley Yes the switch swapping and the price make it an attractive option. In the wide world of mechanical keyboards this is a good deal for many, for something that you use all of the time though it's worth spending a bit more but it's not a bad way to dip your toe in the water. Keyboards are good things to take advantage of easy return policies on. At the end of the day I keep coming back to my Magic Keyboard 2. It's inexcusable that Apple hasn't updated it in years and that there is no backlight, but then again it gets great battery life, is nice to type on and works better with my Mac than anything else I've tried. My dream would be for Apple to make their own, slim profile mechanical keyboard. I'll settle for a black Magic Keyboard 3 with a backlight though!
