So good to see a South African gardener for a change. I've become fed up watching American videos where their climate and terminology isn't the same as ours. So thank you.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am thrilled to share my gardening journey and to connect with fellow gardeners. Thanks for watching, much appreciated!
Thank you so much for reaching out, I am excited to connect with fellow gardeners! I live in Cape Town n I looking forward sow and grow together! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much I was sooo happy to see your channel pop up when searching for south african winter vegetable gardens. I truly did not think there would be any relevant videos.
THANK YOU! I grew up on eating fresh fruits and veggies, and I had a fantastic shape. People now are mad at me for not having their atrocious eating habits, and I have now lost my beautiful shape. Very sad.
Hi I'm doing vertical farming with crèches. I started last year August and most of my plants died. I'm still learning more about vertical farming and I'm planning to start my second attempt to plant now. Thank you for your wonderful work and hope to learn more from you 💚💚
Hi Maureen, that project sounds amazing! I am sorry that most of your pants didn't make it. Take courage because failure n set backs are part of the journey. Wishing you well with your second attempt. Thanks for reaching out , keep on Sowing and Growing!
Hi Tshimangadzo! I am so glad that you find the videos helpful! Thank you so much for watching and I am wishing with you all of the best on your gardening journey! Thanks for the feedback! Keep on Sowing and Growing!
Hi Modeline, thank you so much for watching and for the comment, I truly appreciate it! We are currently still in late autumn so I if you plant your seedlings now you can harvest some crops in the middle of winter. But those that take longer might be ready early spring, since plants require more time to grow during the winter time. It is advisable to add an addition 20 days to the growing days. Please see the approximate growing days for each crop: - Broccoli and Cauliflower - 65-80 days - Cabbage 60-90 days - Carrots -65-80 days - Beetroot -55 days - Kale - 40-80 days - Swiss chard -50-60 days - Broad beans -90 days - Spring Onions 60-65 days - Peas -60 days I hope this helps!
