So nice to see you this morning ❤ What a great seed haul! I have placed my BC order, but I know I’ll make another! I have some traditional poppies to start this year.. first for me. I am starting a bunch of flowers on my new grow rack set up my husband got me 😊 I have some lisianthus and begonia seeds that Im starting today. Oh petunia too! Probably some herbs and I want to start artichokes and rhubarb.. no doubt I’ll find more when I go thru my seeds. Im also going to plan out my winter sowing seeds.

New seeds are always a good way to start the new year. Those are going to be a fun selection to grow. I only just got a seed order in, and I have been picking up packets here and there. 💖💖💖

I've been too afraid of poppies to try them thus far.. I live in zone 9a and don't know if they'll grow here with all our heat and humidity. I have a pack to try though so may this year! With all of your red and white flowers, now you need some blue for patriotic bouquets 😊

Nice seed haul. We're not the best flower growers but I have to put some a few in the yard for the pollinators. Komatsuna and bok choy can be planted at the same time. Just start them in doors and once the Last frost goes get them in the cool ground. Treat Komatsuna like and brassica. Stalks and leaves are edible at any stage. Drought tolerant, but might bolt in extreme heat mid summer. Should do well year round if moved to a greenhouse in winter as they are cold tolerant too. It thrives on nitrogen rich soil that's well drained. It can get upto 1 1/2 feet tall. Its needs a little space and most grows vertical. Each plant needs to be about 1 foot apart. We're going to try more brassicas this spring. My chickens ate nearly all our starts last year 85% of them and decimated our early garden. Bug netting should protect us this year. Happy growing!
