Another great technique from Lisel! In this video, Lisel creates a round form using wood clay (cork clay can also be used). She wraps the form with EZ960® Sterling Silver Clay and embellishes it with detailed textures, syringe work and small sterling silver clay beads. Create multiple beads with original, unique patterns using Lisel's technique.

Ohh my goodness this is beautiful Lisel! The way you work with the clay shows such expertise ☺️ I’m just starting out with silver clay so I’m still nervous when I handle it. Can a bead like this be fired on a gas stove? Thankyou, Clare.

New subscriber today, really interesting stuff! Thought you might like to know they do still make cork clay, I bought some last month at Daiso, the Japanese discount store.

Beautiful bead! I also admire your spiral bracelet. Was it made with the same clay, and if so, do you have a tutorial?

Actually, both cork clay and wood clay can be purchased from Fire Mountain gem's.

Hi! Thank you for the tutorial. What would be the recommended firing schedule for wood clay when using with PMC3?

How do you fire these in the kiln-do you place them on an open kiln shelf or place them inside vermiculite in a dish? thank you.
