Cool, Warm And Neutral Tone Lipsticks - Try On 

You were so brave to do this considering what putting on and taking off those lipsticks must have done to your lips! "Captive" looked like an incredible color for you that just made your whole face come alive! Would love to know what your favorite is.

The "neutral" looks are interesting. The reds look good across the spectrum. Winters have an innate ability to wear red (like us springs with yellow). The pinks and plums in the cools are fantastic.

Captive was my favourite. It packed a punch without outshining your eyes and your overall look. It matched your energy. Very interesting to see how some of the warmer neutrals and the warm tones made you look tired while the cooler tones lifted you up

Captive and Plum Rose were my favorites on you! The warm ones seem to sit on your face but not blend in....more like paint. The cool ones definitely make you glow. Now I need to figure out which I need to use to glow.

You look beautiful in all of the colors, but I thought you looked stunning in Bobbi Browns Plum Rose and MAC Diva!!!!

It was really interesting to see how your overall countenance truly lit up with the deeper colors on your lips. The lighter and more frosted tones took your level of intensity down. But, you were stunning with deep muted tones and reds which were equal in intensity to your natural lip color and overall coloring. I am a deep winter, but I have paler lips. I have a very hard time pulling off deep, dark colors...especially reds.

Wow Mac has some neat lipstick names like Among the Fireflies!

This was interesting! I love captive on you, then Amorous and Plum rose Anything that had a bit depth but still with cool undertones. Warm brought out some green and yellow in the skin and drained you a bit. Darker shades of red worked but didn’t get the wow effect. Neutral worked as long as it had some depth or softness. Over all, the colours are beautiful and I guess sometimes we can be confused with what we like personally and what actually suits the person overall. Thank you for demonstrating, can’t wait to see next vid 🌸

You look stunning in the bold reds! I wish I could rock them. For me the combination of having small lips and looking better in slightly more muted colours. I only have one stronger red that works. Mac is a good reference point though they are less likely to get discounted ❤

I had looked away when both the Neutral and Warm titles came up, so I didn't even realize they were compartmentalized until I saw the Cool title. Therefore I thought the colors were in no particular order, and was trying to "analyze" each one on you. I thought some of the neutral pinks and reds looked nice on you. That Viva Glam Gaga was HORRENDOUS, though. But when I saw the cool shades come out, I saw the difference! They suited you MUCH better. Thanks for this video; I love lipstick, so it was very interesting for me.

Neutral warm deep with medium dark skin. Diva is the only one I could wear with confidence.

The aura struck color pop palette is a great cool Toned palette

You can definitely wear red. I also loved the Captive and Amorous. I can go slightly deep but not too blue based. I think I look best in berry shades. Which cool leaning shades are not too blue? It’s hard to tell on my monitor.

Even the warm-ish red looked good on you, I think that the contrast allowed a winter to pull it off (I think it's fine as long as it's not too orangey). I am quite sure I am also a winter and the only lipstick I avoid like the plague is a "concealer"nude, not even lip liner can save it and I look dead lol!

As a Bright Spring/Light Spring my fav are Ruby Woo and newly bought Lady Danger! ❤️

I liked Bobbie Brown's Plum Rose on you. I also liked MAC's Diva and Velvet Teddy on you. I own a lot of MAC lipsticks and it's difficult to pick my favorite one but I really like New York Apple and Velvet Teddy on me.

Can you please give lipstick recommendations for soft autumns with thin lips?🙏💋 It seems like anything beyond plain lip cream gives too much contrast and end up looking clownish 😢

for me the "double shot" is warm. It is something that would look very good on me (and you too :)) but I am deep autumn!

wonderful demonstration of the power of the undertone. Another thing to keep in mind is the intensity of the color - some folks' face shapes and intensity of features (or lack thereof) mean that dark lipsticks don't look that great on them. Your face has a great balance between all of the features so when you use a dark lipstick it doesn't overpower your face.

My favourites were Captive and Viva Glam 3.

The cool, intense lipsticks looked best on you. Makes sense since you're a winter. You're very pretty. 😊 Now that I know more abt color analysis, I observe some YT presenters re: their clothes & makeup. Two of them are interior designers, so one would think they'd know more abt color but I think they don't know their season or don't dress/ make-up in their season. Both of them are cool toned & whenever they wear warm hues, it just looks "off". They still do great vids (but the wrong colors distract me, lol). Have a great week! 💐

The neutral I am torn between Bombshell (for a nice day look) and Diva. Interesting that they called one lipstick "Mehr". In German that would mean "More". For warm I do like Dubonnet a lot. Maybe because I would pick it for a more edgy look. And for the cool ones ... so hard to decide Up the amp is certainly a looker. And plump daddy very elegant. And Candy Yum Yum is an awesome statement for sure.

I wear Dubonnet for nights out - self diagnosed summer /cool dummer. I thought it was classed as a neutral red or did they change it. It looked very different now that i have googled pictures 🤔

I only have five and they are all warm or warm/neutral as I am a warm spring and I try to stay in palette.

Diva#1(also my fav on you) ,Plum Rose #2 . Barcelona red #3 looks like it's so nice and fresh if a spring wears it.Dubbonet looked so wrong, and at the same time so right on you - so the right brightness and just a lovely level of depth for your face but to obviously warm. The right shade in the wrong temperature. I'm not into it specifically for my lips,but,Lovelorn looks like the pink they paint on dove's beaks for fountains. Is Double shot soft summer? I would be tempted to categorize it warm,I know you didn't put it in the neutrals,but I see most of the taupes in soft summer - are there any beiges in the true cools/true summers/winters? I'd like to know where the neutrals sit - whether you're going in a specific direction - starting from soft summer/soft autumn to dark autumn/deep winter to bright winter/spring to light spring/summer? I keep thinking Diva is dark autumn and then I see Viva Glam 3 and assume it's dark or bright winter.

Bobbi Brown Plum Rose looked amazing, and Captive by MAC was my 2nd fave- but not a fan of the MAC formula.. it looks dry and waxy and personally I would never buy those anymore. It’s amazing how you are able to pull off the warm bright colors as well as you do… I am a true spring, and I recently went through my entire lipstick collection and tried it all on, and had to throw away like 70% of my lipsticks. I am not able to wear things that have much brown, and “pink” looks purple on me… most colors just make me look gray and tired and older and are worse than nothing at all. I can really only wear bright peach, grapefruit “pink”, warm bright rose, coral, orange-red and yellow toned red.

I did color analysis and was classified as a Paint Box spring. I noticed that most reds look pink on my lips. Is that due to the fact that I’m a warm or neutral and not a cool?

You looked good in everything, even the foundation-colored one! You have beautiful skin and pigmented lips. I have extremely pale lips, am a cool light olive and have rosacea. Cool and medium to darkish colors look good. Everything else is 👎🏼

Viva Glam 3, Dubonnet, Plum Dandy, Amorous, Plum Rose are gorgeous. The Viva Glam Gaga 2 reminds me of the awful flesh-colored nail polish popular in the 1960s. Nope.
