3.6L V6 engine Jeep Wrangler JL (2018)
Took some time to find a small & slow coolant leak beneath the coolant recovery bottle & outlet hose.
Knew I had a problem when I was topping off coolant so frequently. This is my main ride. Eventually overheated & discovered it had been running on empty that one day.
System flushed.
Found a leak.
Unsure if bottle was issue or hose...bottle seemed normal to me--thinking to replace outlet hose now.
Vid is to demo the removal & disconnection of the coolant bottle on my JL.
Issue is not fixed yet because part has been delayed.
😑 big UGH!

Hey I have to replace the outlet hose but being in Arizona summer, it’s a struggle just wanting to lol are you going to replace the hose and make a video? There are no videos of it yet but would definitely appreciate one to follow along to!

Boy, it's hot here in SoCal too. 🥵 Yesterday, I tried to remove & replace the outlet hose that you see here. I got the part ($98 at dealer) its easy if you trail it down right behind radiator fan, so reaching down there & releasing the hose clip is the part I'm struggling with. The clip tool I have isn't helping & my grip strength is weak to open it. I am waiting for another tool that is extendable, coming in a couple of days. To answer your question, yes, I will post a vid!
