I love when Monster Hunter appears or get mentioned on other fandoms This makes so happy Those avatars are beautiful and accurate Fulgur Anjanath's is my favorite of the ones shown here
the sad part about these amazing avatars is that some of them doesn't have a world where you can get them. so you either have to actually meet the creator themselves or visit one of those avatar searching worlds and narrow down your search to some other similar avatars with the same name
Im a little confused, Is there an expectation that creators like this share their avatars? I dont get sad, these inspire me to make my own awesome avatars
@@RealityRogue well no, there's no expectations of a public world for them. Usually when people see these kinds of avatar they'd just clone them on the spot. But I can agree that these avatar will inspire some people to make more avatars for themselves and the community

Oh god the motion sickness you can get from a VR monster hunter. Can you imagine having an acurate camera tracking of a Insect glaive hunter or a dual dagger spin dash while the monster is moving.
The charge blade avatar made me so incredibly happy and filled with joy, being a charge blade main, made me really happy seeing the accuracy in the moves lol
Unless he shows otherwise, or has, because I'll not bother to look more into it. It's more than likely, as in 99%. Its just ripping the models from the game, then redoing some of the things its missing in blender/3D max. Then into unity and suffer for a few hours there.
@@DontUseHack is it really that simple?? Seem like down playing how great it turned out but also the alternative is that person put an ungodly amount of hours of work into it so idk cool outcome either way.
@@DontUseHack they put a lot of work and effort into it, for one ‘ripping models’ doesn’t give them sound effects or particles or any of that, second, game models are not rigged to be controlled by a person in VR, they have to give it a skeleton and weight paint the parts of the mesh to move with the bones, third they added a lot of small things to the avatar that surface level may not look impressive but are once you know more about how avatar creation is done. Bream is very particular about how they model things and loves to gush about some of the small things they add like how the foot curls when not on the ground in that one avatar, or in another mech avatar she made how a gun has a lot of small movements when it fires or reloads.
As someone who has made monster hunter avatars too, this puts a smile on my face to see other people creating their own monster hunter content for VRC (and it looks awesome)! Also really cool to see someone made their own Sahvyt avatar from Dauntless! I honestly felt like I was the only one who did make one.

The second he said “cartoon monster hunter” I INSTANTLY KNEW IT WAS DAUNTLESS AND I WAS RIGHT LMFAO! (I would comment on how Sahvyt’s attacks are accurate to what they are in-game but given how fast and ridiculous they are it’s understandable)
I don’t have vrchat, nor do I know about how someone even remotely makes something like this, but it’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen being able to control those
i wonder if they have an avatar world where they showcase some of their creations. the hunter ones are amazing esspiciaally with how the weapons work. this could be my chance to finally hold my gunlance
Monster hunter has really come a long ways. I remember playing the original monster hunter for the PSP and I'm just amazed at the evolution that the game has taken.

Haven't played VRChat for an entire year since that update stopped us from logging into the game. Maybe I'll go back some day - after I finish "The Forest".
