Hey Kyle & Greg, it was so nice to finally meat you two, (I was wearing all the Denver gear), my building is coming along so nice by Paul (Mr. PostFrame) and I'm really looking forward to filling the shop up with the old cars and trailers. We put in the septic system today and moved around allot of dirt for an additional parking area. Take care and don't work too hard.
Large roof overhangs add beauty and protect the doors, windows and siding from rain and sun damage. Architects need to include larger overhangs in their plans and drawings.
Some great products for the construction industry! I’ve been in it for over 40 years in one aspect or another. Thanks for sharing the information, Kyle! I hope RR HQ build is coming along the way you plan!
You didn't say hi to Emily Marshall. She walked right by you @16:29! I'm still hoping for a joint build between Marshall and RR. Something like an 80x120 in Davenport. Little travel time for both crews but hey it's for RU-vid Bro!
Hey Kyle, I really enjoy your post frame builds and my wife and I are thinking of building a 30x40 on our lake property. My question is we have a slopped property that is probably 3' difference from front to back and was wondering if you ever built a post frame on a raised foundation? And if so, did you post a video on it?
The wood-look steel siding reminds me of trim from old mobile homes. Would want to see it in use first. It may be very nice in use. Kind of like the board and batten-look stuff.
Love the fact that you can get wood or stone looking metal panels my only concern would be sun fade.... What will they look like 10,15,20 years from now???
Hey Kyle, i purchased a pair of those ISO tunes because of the work i do here on my farm, they worked great, at first. Then, they just stopped working. No matter what i did, i could not get both to link up, so i would wear them with only one working. It sucked, Not sold on them. Happy they work for you.
@RRBuildings but they did work well, until the disconnect. I tried everything, including what it said in the instructions, reset my phone, removed iso from my Bluetooth connection, reinstalled and still nothing. 🙃
Love the channel Kyle. Just wanted to let you know that Morton has offered the wood look siding as well as a precast concrete lower column for about 5 years. MFS is a great option for those looking at Morton Buildings
I would not do the wood/stone metal siding, not when you have other options. It still looks really fake. The Versetta stone looks way better than that fake metal for sure. LOVE my ISO Tunes. I started with the wired Pro's, and had all kinds of issues with the connection about 6 months in (literally 2' from my phone to the unit). ISO Tunes didn't blink an eye and sent me another set. About 3 months into them I again had issues. I wasn't going for another set as that rubber cord just snagged my neck. I opted for the FREE 2.0. HOLY CRAP! AMAZING. NEVER a connection issue. I think my biggest issue is the 'maintenance' cost. Those ear tips DO NOT LAST very long. I get MAYBE a month out of them, so buying those gets expensive.
What I'd really like to find is an affordable system to retrofit an existing building that has wood posts in the ground to something with no wood in the ground.
What's the big deal w the metric system? 3.5 grams is an 1/8th of an Oz, 25.4mm 1 in, 1 mi is 1 divided by .62 km. So, 10 mi is 15 km I guess. What don't get is how a quart of milk is un litro de leche but 3.78L is a gallon.
