I love that area of Jomtien. I have stayed at Phratamnak soi 4 several times. Plenty of gentlemans clubs in the area. I was there during the pandemic too. It was like a ghost town, but much better than beeing at home in Norway.

Thanks for the tip on peach purée. There’s a place over here on the dark side, only 5 minutes from where I live called Cannibis King - Warehouse, I’m sure it’s related to the shop you were in. Never knew it was there, off the main road, kinda hidden. Gonna check it out today. Their website lists the peach for 200 for 1 or 1500 for 10.

That looks like a cool weed shop and the guys are also pretty cool.

Hi Sean, this was first video I have seen in Jomtien that someone went to where old ferry boat to Hua Hin used to be, very cool. I was hoping it would be back up and running so I could take a quick trip to Hua Hin without having to go back thru Bangkok. You mentioned the ferry to Hua Hin business is back up and running? Can you really travel to Hua Hin on a jet ski and does this place have a name you were at. I'll be in Pattaya December 24th thru the New Year and would love to be able to get to Hua Hin from Pattaya especially by jet ski. Living the dream

Been to Pattaya 4 times but last was 10 long years ago. I always liked Jomtien area, now retired I need to spend months instead of weeks.all I have to do is pull the string…

I’m in Vietnam now. I loved Biu Vien street in Saigon and the war museum and now I’m in Danang where I just had three lobsters 🦞 prawns 🍤 oysters 🦪 squid 🦑 and vegetables 🥦 for 10 quid. I’m going to Jomtien Beach next week and I must admit that Vietnam isn’t as fun as Thailand 🇹🇭 but it’s much cheaper.

did you go up the way into Pattaya beach road area where they have a TWO STORY 7/11? You started out at Yinyom Beach, you can see it on Google maps, Feb 2022 there was a lovely big shade tree in the lot where that stupid cafe you remarked on is. WHACK...gone. That's why you could not find shade to eat yer cheese toasty in (the toasty is a FAVORITE of expats and Pattayites :)

we loved Jomtien when we went in January on way back from Koh Chang...will say we didn't realise jomtien was the gay capital of Thailand, visited walking st to expect the usual and was shocked to see what we did...naive for sure...beach and area is lovely but night time is sooo different :)

Hey Sean, just noticed your section about jet ski's to Hua Hin! That is dangerous beyond belief! Hua Hin is 58 nautical miles from Pattaya! You cannot see more than 20 miles! At best you were looking at some islands off Pattaya! To get there by a decent boat you have to cross busy sea lanes! Storms are everyday! This wasn't a good statement mate!

Haters are gonna hate, 3 years and Tracy and I are retiring to Thailand. Keep enjoying yourself.
